    4. best reserved for film nerds too lazy for Thus Spake Zarathustra, happy to take their philosophical insights in the context of filmmaking. sounds nauseating, no? i love it

    5. meh, i hoped for more. I was suprised what a downer this was - i was hoping for some inspiration call to film the world - instead it was much more about the conflict of story and image - and wim's struggle with this. It was insightful and a great perspective on good movies, but to be honest i think i liked the moves more before reading this.

    6. A key book for understanding Wenders conema trying to answer the ontological question : why do I make films? He answers through his own movies with reflections on his own filmmaking style.

    7. I love Wenders' films. However, in his writings he is often an egomaniacal clown. However, there are not infrequently beautifully "religious" hyms to the cinema that succer in folks like me.
