    1. Fun read with a scifi dimensional twist to the world. Loved the dimensional twist to the world and never knew what I'd encounter next. And Andrews*sigh* lovely. Gentle start to a lovely couple. Chloe made me smile through out.*****FULL REVIEW*****Chloe's still working her job as a housekeeper as the tourist season comes to a close. Cleaning one room of a single man, Chloe is shocked to see a woman with almond shaped eyes enter from the balcony, who eyes the golden pyramid covered in strange shap [...]

    2. I struggle with science fiction romance (SFR). I'm not a big romance reader, though I don't mind romance in a book itself. However, I haven't had good luck with the merger of the two genres. Most times, I'm left feeling like either the science was laughable or the heavy panting got in the way.So, as someone who doesn't like the genre and who has struggled to even finish most SFR books recommended to her, I *loved* this book. Loved it. Laughed and laughed, and laughed some more. And I didn't laug [...]

    3. Science Fiction RomanceI found The Dimensional Shift on the SFR Brigade’s Pitch Contest and went to Barnes and Noble to purchase and download the ebook. This is cute story with an unusual main character. Chloe’s job is cleaning rooms in a local hotel in the northern US. Her job is seasonal as the hotel has few guests in the winter. On one of her last days of the season a woman in room 306 walks in from the balcony while she is cleaning. The only problem is that there should not have been any [...]

    4. 2.5 stars This was a fun and light read, but I sort of felt like the execution didn't live up to the concept. Maybe it's because this is a first book and the beginning was a lot of set-up, but I found the first half very slow and not super interesting. Once she started working at The Shift things picked up, especially with the introduction of Ian who I think is my favorite character. Chloe and Drew were OK but I didn't feel a particular connection to them. And there were still some major things [...]

    5. What a great concept for a book! I loved it!Read the synopsis and trust me that it's worth it. There's a lot more in the book!I found myself guessing what would happen next and I was right most of the time, but I totally didn't expect that. I was surprised that I was correct because the story line was NOT obvious. (I must be a good guesser or on the same mental wavelength with the author. Anyways)The writing was well done also. There were only a couple times when I was a bit confused with the de [...]

    6. This was a very cute funny story. While I didn't laugh out loud I did smile throughout and really enjoyed the characters and the world Pauli built - I'll be reading the continuation of Chloe's adventures for sure. I'm not a fan of Listal and hope she gets hers and that we get to learn more about the various dimensions as Chloe earns more locations on her key. While I enjoyed the story and writing style I think it would have benefitted from a little more editing - it sort of rambled in places. Not [...]

    7. I never suspected the world of hotel hospitality and housekeeping could be so much fun! Frances has done it again with another fun read, sexy heroes, naughty aliens, and a hotel to die for. If you're looking for a fun escape into another dimension, this book is a great one.I want my own little pyramid key that lets me explore infinite dimensions. I'm definitely looking forward to the sequel.

    8. This was a great book, i was completely swept away with the character in her awesome new world. The world of the hotel was so alien and well constructed for the reader. I absolutely love it and can't wait for the next book!!
