    1. This is quite a short story, but it really didn't present an appropriate feeling of place or character. Based on the title and then the opening paragraphs, there was no real sense of what time period it is set in, and it was never really clear, with conflicting details of whether this is a contemporary story or from the middle of the last century.I wanted to enjoy the story, as it had a quilter for its main character, but the budding romance was a bit too trite.     2. Great storyThis is a great short story about a second chance at love. I'm so glad Berths sent Gregory to Minerva.

    3. This was a short, sweet, and touching freebie. I liked the characters and the story line. I would've liked it to have been more fleshed out and longer but the basics and a little more were covered. There were emotions, a touch of otherness, a good family feeling to overcome past nastiness, and the perfect ending. I wouldn't mind reading this again for passing time or for a quick cuddle-up read. Definitely a one-sitter and a good deal. Enjoy

    5. Wonderful book. I enjoy books where the abused spouse finds herself and is finally free from the abuse. I guess that comes from being an abused spouse. This was a free book in the Kindle store.
