    1. I was expecting something a little bit more from this novel than what I got. Based on previous comments by other reviewers I figured it would an in-depth look at real-life trials in places that should be safe and contained. What I got was a shallowly-skimmed novel based on classic views of good and evil. The three guards accused of molesting the boys don't even really try to hide their wants or intentions and yet, no one knew this was happening? They openly hit or grope some of the boys and *def [...]

    2. So, I was going to read this, and then I managed to be offended in the first two pages of the sample, when Manly writes:"Clint and his wife, Sam, had no children of their own except for a little girl from Africa they'd adopted.""no children of their own except"???What the hell part of that does not equal a child? Is she not their child because she's a girl? Because she's from Africa? (Which is, by the way, NOT a country). Or is she not a child because she's adopted? Any of the above options make [...]

    3. Gian Davinci is an 23 years old police sergeant. He had a pretty bad experience when he was only a child, orphaned and sexually molested by the uncle who took him in after his parents death. If not for a cop who saw beyond his rebel behaviour, Gian probably would be only another society garbage. And instead now he is a very good cop, with a lovely family. He is also gay and proud to be, a social activist who helps other young men to come to term with their sexuality. When a new case is brought in [...]

    4. Oh this is a hard one to write about. Gian is a cop that goes in undercover to find out about boys beeing molested and that could be a really good story to build a book on but what happned was that I got to read a story that had no credibility. The first night Gian is working at Beaconfield he gets an invitation to come "play" with the little boys. Way to give yourself away. The boys that have been raped, beaten and humiliated for years talk about wanting sex, jokes about rape and flirts with Gia [...]

    5. Not an easy book to read at all, but I loved it!Quite a wonderful storytelling, although very frustrating story at times, and just when you'd think the bad part is over well, it turns out from bad to worse, but at the end the HEA was very satisfying. But the characters're realistic enough and the story's really intense and compellng, I couldn't put the book down.

    6. Wow this story got to me so much. I cried, and cried some more and I really wanted to throw my computer across the room. I know when I want to do that the story grabbed me and held on tight. The sad thing about this story it might be fiction but this stuff really happens and that's just sad. I'm not going to say anything specific about the story but I guarantee you won't be disappointed if you read it. Be prepared though it will have your emotions going crazy. This one is a Keeper

    7. I found this book to difficult to rate, mainly for it's subject matter - though I did have an issue with some points in the book. Overall, it wasn't a bad book but I probably won't read it over again.

    8. I really loved this book, it was sad and it made me laugh at the same time. I was able to read this book in one sitting. The characters work very well together, there were times I got so mad and there were times that I cried my eyes out. I would recommend this book to everyone.
