    1. I learned all about our immune system. I was always scared of medicine because I thought my immune system could take care of things by itself. However, I learned that our bodies over-react to allergens (dust, pollens, and etc.) because of early man's need to fight parasites. 3. "Simple steps to help stop attacks & improve your child's health". Basically avoid triggers & take your meds uh, duh?!? It did remind me that we are doing the right things because the healthier we can keep k now the better chances are that shel'll "out-grow" her allergies/asthma without long term damage.

    4. Useful book with information on different types of allergies. Food allergies (particularly peanuts or milk) sound very scary. Reckon in comparison I could cope with asthma and eczema. Book was a bit old so not sure how up-to-date the medication info is.
