    1. Great novel.Author always does research before writing and what he knows from his past employment. This third book Kyle Achilles lost his job, because Ivan deceived him. Now he has to step ahead of him and get the ghost. Plot full of twists, fast moving story and will keep you up way past of bed time.

    2. Brilliant. There are some books that just can’t pull yourself away from with the need to find out what’s going to happen, and this is definitely one of those stories. Action Thrillers are one of my favourite genres, and Tim Tigner has done an amazing job with this book. There are plenty of twist and turns, along with an interesting and exciting plot. Kyle Achilles really is a great character.Ivan the Ghost was a very smart man, and he had developed a drone called the ‘Raven’. This drone [...]

    3. ‘A big black UFO. No, not a UFO. A drone.’The movie star handsome, ‘man’s man’ Tim Tigner comes to his role as a novelist specializing in political intrigue with a rich background. His academic preparation is a combination of mathematics and philosophy with psychology and radiology, but after academia his instinct for investigation and thrill seeking led him to serve in the Green Berets, specializing in Russian and Soviet counterintelligence. When Perestroika/Glasnost ‘opened’ Russ [...]

    4. Attack of the DronesThis book made me think of the lyrics in the song "White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane: “Feed your head." Tim Tigner's books are scary smart. The intelligence he displays in crafting truly ingenious techno-thrillers puts him in a class by himself. In Falling Stars, he has found a way to use drones as weapons of personal destruction rather than mass destruction. The evil plan devised Kyle Achilles' nemesis Ivan the Ghost (Book 1 in the series) will leave you completely paran [...]

    5. Adrenaline junkies will be very happy- Tigner does not disappoint! In typical Tigner style, you are sucked up into an adrenaline packed adventure leaving you reaching, the next morning, for the second pot of coffee just so you don't fall asleep at work. He introduces New technology which is frighteningly not New at all. The possibility that the events within this book are scary real, which makes it hard to put down.He pulls out all his tricks and really cute quips to lighten the terror he unleash [...]

    6. The third in the Kyle Achilles series, Falling Stars provides the same explosive punch as its predecessors. It’s not necessary to have read the earlier novels, but it might help.Tigner once again focuses his story around a technological innovation used for nefarious ends. In this case, it is kidnapping via drone. And once again Achilles is in pursuit of Ivan the Ghost. Teamed up with a former French CIA agent, Achilles finds himself hunted by the FBI and CIA, while trying to get one step ahead [...]

    7. Falling Stars. Tim TignerA spectacular read. Achilles nemesis , Ivan the Ghost, the reason for his resignation from the CIA, his first and only assignment has returned. He has framed him for the murder of the director of the CIA. Ivan has developed drones capable of extorting millions from unsuspecting victims. Ivan cares nothing about human life. Only his reputation. His arrogance has no equal. Morality, having any kind of conscious, is not part of his genetic make up. Achilles has a score to s [...]

    8. Rip roaring adventure, suprizes galorGood adventure with twists and turns. Take for what it’s worth, and be glad it’s so entertaining. Written for all to enjoy, not loaded down with complex phrasing or heavy portentous style.

    9. I read everything I can get my hands on and am so pleased to have found another binge-worthy author! The action is fast and true, and the plot lines are believable and enjoyable. I love it that he skips the blah, blah, blah about every bit of every location--so refreshing to just read a book without having to skim through pages of don't-care-doesn't-matter. I rarely follow authors, but I am now, and I am really looking forward to his next book!

    10. This story is a fast-paced thriller that will keep the reader fully engrossed! Character development has been well done and the plot is full of twists and plenty of action. The author's knowledge and research of his material is excellent. I look forward to the next in the series!

    11. Enjoyed the audiobook so much I hated to get out of the car. Fast paced and use of drones was imaginative.

    12. Brilliant!Absolutely great reading, and an Achilles thriller like no other. Tim stuck tighter to the plotline, and less to "filler" as I call it. So many exciting moments that it's hard to put down.

    13. Will Achilles Ever Get One Step Ahead Of Ivan?Ivan has already outwitted Achilles once, causing him to lose his job. Now, Ivan is back and determined to get wealthy beyond belief before he retires forever. He has hatched an ingenious plan to use Raven, a scaled up quadcopter capable of carrying 250 pounds, to wage his final quest to reach his goal. As Ivan’s diabolical plan evolves, he refuses to disclose what comes next to his faithful partners in crime. Achilles, too, will never be able to s [...]

    14. The best book to date by Tim Tigner. The story gave me pause because it was so diabolically believable. The characters came alive for me on the pages as I read; warts and all which resulted in a few chuckles and even a laugh out loud session at my end with one of the scenarios Tim described. Like a certain commercial about not being able to eat just one great-tasting potato chip, I'll bet you can't put the book down after reading one chapter. Tim packs a lot of great material into each chapter a [...]

    15. Really love his books! Figuring it out is half the fun! After finishing Falling Stars, there is an Author’s note afterwards where Tim Tigner lets his fans know that there is an alternate ending, should we care to read it. I was VERY surprised when I emailed him, as per his instructions, that he not only sent me the alternate ending, but responded personally to my email. I know that we are all so very busy in this day and age and so it meant the world to me that there are still authors out there [...]

    16. FALLING STARS (Kyle Achilles #3)Well, when I saw the book set 1-3 coming out, I realized that I had gotten busy and had not provided a review when I finished this book months ago. But Tim Tigner will certainly not disappoint any reader with book #3 of the Kyle Achilles series. And he has been uniquely creative in his utilization of drones to terrorize INDIVIDUAL citizens. The plots moved very quickly, and is certainly hard to predict. And Tigner is definitely refining his writing skills, with Fa [...]

    17. Five Star SpiesAchilles is again on the run in “Falling Stars,” teaming up in book 3 with his former CIA co-worker, Jo Montfort. They’re forced into matching wits against the diabolical “Ivan the ghost” as he wreaks international K&R havoc and has the U. S. in his sights. Achilles thinks he’s finally gotten a step ahead of Ivan’s scheme until he discovers that Ivan is holding Katya hostage in an unknown location. This story has enough twists and turns to keep you flipping pages [...]

    18. Falling Stars is the third novel in the the Kyle Achilles series by Tim Tigner. The book also follows the main 'big bad' introduced in a prequel novella 'Chasing Ivan' in the series, which I think can still be obtained free from the author's website and is well worth obtaining. I've read the previous entries and been suitably impressed, and I actually think this surpasses those previous books. On one level the book is a beach read, page turner thriller (and succeeds admirably in that vein) but t [...]

    19. I am a big Tim Tigner fan and I especially like his Kyle Achilles series. I found Falling Stars to be the author’s best yet in the series. I was so happy to see that Achilles has been reconnected with Josephine Monfort, a colleague from his past. I am a fan of Jo because she is a strong and believable female character. Jo and Achilles have been brought back together due to Ivan “ the Ghost “ creating trouble again for the two of them and the rest of the world. This time Ivan has come up wi [...]

    20. Falling Stars in another superb entry in the Kyle Achilles series. Tigner has a great handle on his characters and really brings them to life in each of his novels. This one stands out by bringing back the villain and his longtime friend/cohort from the Chasing Ivan novella. Both of those characters were worth a re-visit. And Ivan has some new employees as well that are intriguing in their own right - an engineer and a Russian fighter pilot. Both are given a bit of back story - enough that I wou [...]

    21. So thrilled to discover such a talented writer, who is new to me.I read books one and two in the Kyle Achilles series without a break, they were that engrossing.Mr. Tigner is not a formulaic writer, that became clear in the second book. Unlike some other writers who might think, "Hey! This worked for me last time? So, I'll do it again". Not so for Tim Higher. Original, original, every time. This time Kyle has upped his gamesmanship, and feels competent to beat the Ghost. He has failed before, tw [...]

    22. Falling Stars is the third book in the Kyle Achilles series. This book can be read as a standalone but it makes more sense if you have read Chasing Ivan, Pushing Brilliance, and The Lies of Spies for the background of these characters. There is a lot of violence. The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I'm not going to repeat that info here. The book has well developed characters. There are a lot of twists and turns in the storyline that keep you guessing what will be revealed next. [...]

    23. Excellent, exciting read. He outdid himself again.I've read each of Tim's books knowing that not only will I learn a whole bunch of new, fascinating technology-related stuff, but I will not be able to guess the outcome no matter how much I try to out-think him. This latest book is very fast-paced, and offers many surprises. Perhaps the only non-surprise in the entire book is the very end. And now you will have to read the book yourself to decide if you agree. In any case, you won't be sorry and [...]

    24. Falling StarsI feel like I don't even have to say much about this book. Every Tim Tigner book is a winner. His talent knows no bounds. This book did keep you guessing at what the psychopathic antagonist would do. He kept twisting and turning his plans even with his own team. You just never knew what was coming. It let the excitement build. And, of course, Achilles, had his own agenda. This was a terrific read. I would recommend it to anyone who loves thrillers.

    25. If you like action, Falling Stars does not disappoint Action packed from the first page, Falling Stars does not disappoint in that regard. The plot may seem a little far fetched and the characters bigger than life, but it may very likely be vision of the future with drones, robotics and AI becoming more commonplace. Overall, if you are looking for a fast paced action thriller, definitely a good read.

    26. Tim Tigner is one of my favorite authors. His writing style is so much fun to read. His books are always real page turners and I stay up way too late to see what happens next. I enjoy the Kyle Achilles books book 2 was still my favorite of the three, but this is a great adventure. If you like David Baldacci and Vince Flynn, you will like Tim Tigner.

    27. Author is Devious, in a Great Way!Enjoyed this series immensely. Author developed great characters and keeps you on the roller coaster with them. Difficult to stop reading these at night. I defy anybody to anticipate all the plot twists he comes up with. Thanks Tim, you're on my top 5 list!

    28. Too much going on here.ory had to followAfter first two books was eagerly ready for the thirdDisappointedo very much going onput it down several times to go back each time and reread to get back into it Difficult to follow all people, places, actions, and storyline. Hero less involved than villains.t best.
