    1. After having read Dyan Chick's YA Illaria series, I was intrigued to see what she had to offer for an urban fantasy. What I found in Fae Cursed, between the characters, the storyline, and the writing was quite a pleasant surprise. The character of Ara speaks to the reader of a young woman with a complex past who is just trying to do right with her life and the family she has left. This relatability at a core level is something I am finding Ms. Chick to be very good at doing. Ara's "accidental" s [...]

    2. Thanks to the author for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review. This doesn't in any way influence my opinion on it.Fae Cursed is the first book is a dazzling new series from the multi talented Dyan Chick. Her foray into Urban Fantasy is a brilliant culmination of superb writing, amazing characters, refreshing storylines, hot romance and amazing magic. Ara goes looking for her brother Ryder at a party (which is not usually his style) but instead comes in contact with The Rose Circus w [...]

    3. WonderfulI honestly didn't know what to expect when I started reading this, but I was pleasantly surprised by the characters and plot. I'm excited to check out the next book!

    4. I received an ARC copy of Fae Cursed in return for my honest opinion.WOW! I stayed up way too late finishing this book last night- but I couldn't put it down. From the beginning the pace was wonderful and I was never bored as the story was slowly revealed as we found out there were more and more secrets to discover. I adore magic worlds and Dylan Chick has created a wonderful, unique take on fae and I can't wait for the next book!Ara struggles to stay away from the mysterious Rose Circus that th [...]

    5. Unique idea? Still confused about the ending showdown with terra. Was it conjured by Brenon or real? I don't know. The shower scene was a bit out of the blue. I almost wish Ara was like "Boy you better get yo ass out of here before I kick it out. I ain't getting naked for you."But we all know that didn't happen. o_O It didn't feel erotic when they were washing each other. It felt creepy. He had his hands all over her and then was like "now wash me". She immediately jumped at the chance to wash h [...]

    6. This one started a little slow for me but if you stick with it, it turns out to be a good read. It's a good start to the series and has a lot of the background detail you need for everything to make sense. Lots of mysteries that don't all get solved until the second book. For those who want to know: This one has violence.

    7. Fantastic new seriesStaying the responsible one is harder than you think when the deck us stacked against you. Being the stronger person and being the adult can unleash the feelings inside and letting yourself go can help you see the magic. Nicely written, a story to capture your interest and your heart. Can't wait for more

    8. It's differentI find the plot interesting, it's definitely different from what I have read before. There were a lot of characters involved and I did catch on after a bit. There was something special about it though.i have it a 5 star for creativity

    9. OmgMagic is always a favorite. But to toss in some love and betrayal, this book offers everything you could ever want

    10. Great story. So fascinating that I read it nonstop. Somewhat reminiscent of the Beauty and the Beast. There's a great curse and somewhere there is a method to break it. But should it be broken?
