    2. Third book in Novak's The Last Stand series. I think this one is the most well-rounded of the three. The suspense storyline is fairly solid, and it's got the best romance aspect. At least that's how it came across to me.Watch Me focuses on the last of the 3 founders of The Last Stand, a victims advocacy group. Sheridan Kohl was only sixteen when a masked man opened fire on her and her date as they sat in a parked truck in a secluded spot. Her date was killed and Sheridan critically injured. She' [...]

    4. Unputdownable! Watch me won’t let you go!Sheridan is back in Whiterock, after receiving a phone call telling her about a break in a twelve-year-old case. Twelve years ago, while parked at a lake, a stranger yanked open the truck door, shooting both Jason and Sheridan. Sheridan survived, Jason didn’t. Sheridan has felt the guilt all this time, guilt that’s been eating at her, for if it hadn’t been for her, Jason would still be alive. While at her uncle’s home, getting it ready to put on [...]

    5. This was the third in a series of novels about a group of crime victims who have started up a victim's advocacy group in Sacramento. In this one, Sheridan returns to her hometown to track down the man who shot her and killed the boy she was with when she was only 16. She's hardly in town for a day before he strikes again and nearly manages to kill her before being interrupted by Cain, her high school crush and step-brother to the boy who died. Together, the two of them battle local gossip and th [...]

    6. Sheridan is the main character in this final book in the Last Stand trilogy. Sheridan left home long ago and has now returned to try to solve the mystery of her boyfriend Jason. Jason was shot when they were on a date in high school together, and Sheridan was badly wounded. Now that she is back, someone is targeting her again, and she joins her old beau Cain to discover not only who attacked her but also the killer of Jason almost two decades ago. This is a romantic suspense that will keep you g [...]

    7. This is the third novel in The Last Stand series I am not sure how Brenda Novak is able to make each additional novel better than the last one but she does! You will not be disappointed reading this series. Now on to book four but it can wait until morning I think!

    8. Great book getting ready to start book#4 I've read them all so far. Brenda is a great Author if you haven't read her books please read one.

    9. Excellent. Loved the storyline, the mystery had me till the end. ?.who dunnitd the romance was great as well. Good job!

    10. Another day, another book, another Romantic Suspense devoured too quickly. I’m enjoying these Brenda Novak page-turners, and I think this third book is the one I like most so far (if only because the male protagonist isn’t a neanderthal like the first two and so, by default, despite some of his flaws, I like him the most). However, I can’t help but be slightly bothered by the all-too formulaic outline of the romance and the suspense. While the story is a different one, all the plot devices [...]

    11. 2 Star for Watch Me Someone tried to kill her twelve years ago.Teenagers Sheridan Kohl and Jason Wyatt were parked at the lake in Whiterock, Tennessee, when a stranger wearing a ski mask shot them both. Sheridan lived but Jason died -- and the stranger was never caught. Even though Sheridan's family moved away right afterward, she's never been able to put the crime behind her.And now that someone doesn't want her to come home.Because of a new development in the case, Sheridan returns to Whiteroc [...]

    12. Omg wow that was soooo intense. What Sheridan endured was unbelievable Thank goodness for Cain. If he ignored his dogs, she’d be singing a different tune.(actually she wouldn’t be singing at all). Cain, Cain, Cainry complex character. I understood his pain and anger. All the years of being the enemy and all because everyone needed a scapegoat. I had absolutely no sympathy for Amy or what happened to her. That broad and everyone around her were a few cans short of a six pack!!! No real sympat [...]

    13. Although the first two books were pretty incredible this book is my favorite in the series so far. Brenda has a magical way of crafting stories that keep you on the edge of your seat, causing you to get a little jumpy and yet also enjoying the heart warming aspects of the story. It’s a love story and a thriller in one as most of her novels are and they are so addicting and thoroughly enjoyable. The characters are so realistic and believable and their stories inspiring. In this book Sheridan ha [...]

    14. On my god! Every time I read a Brenda Novak book i don't think it can be better than the last one I read but they always are. Brenda can write a story like no other. Sheridan Kohl was shot and her friend was killed when she was sixteen. She has come back to her hometown to finally get justice. With every new page you turn in this book you can not believe all this girl goes through to finally get to the bottom of what happened. This is a definite must read.

    15. This was an intense psychological thriller. I could not put this book down! Sheridan and Cain are involved in a murder mystery which has affected their lives adversely Lots of twists and turns, interesting characters. . Fast paced, detailed story that will have you looking behind you and jumping at any slight noise. I loved this book! thank you Brenda Novak for such wonderful writing!

    16. What a great who done it! You wonder at ever turn of the page just who is capable of doing such an awful thing as this! You are positive it can’t be who everyone thinks it is however you begin to have your doubts too! Brenda can write such a great suspense romance! Thanks Brenda!

    17. Great book! While this book may have all the ingredients of the rest of the series it was a bit more bloodthirsty than the others. The writing was first rate , with great characters and a intriguing plot. Read it, you will not regret it!

    18. Like the first 2 books in this series, once I had the time to read, I couldn’t put it down. Brenda really knows how to grab you in. This ending threw me for a loop. I never expected who the guilty person was in the end.

    19. I didn't see the killer coming I thought it someone else the whole time so when I finally figured it out I was amazed that it was the person it was Great story loved it

    20. AmazingNovak really knows how to throw some curve balls and keep you second guessing yourself. Another excellent read. I couldn't put it down.

    21. Good Mystery Lots of good characters and great plot. Kept you solving and then doubting on who the bad one was. Will read another!

    22. Best of the series so far, I liked this better than the previous 2 in the Last Stand series.Brenda Novak really has a knack for recreating the small town and the "small town feel" in her novels. Everybody knows everybody and their business and people have their secrets. This small town was chock full of interesting folks, general wackos, and the rare "normal" person. Most of the characters seem quite developmentally stunted, as many of them were still stuck on their high school years and who did [...]

    23. Even better than the first two, Watch Me is The Last Stand hitting its stride. Out the gate, Sheridan's story pulls you in, and you're immediately engaged with every single character as soon as they hit the stage. Cain? Oh, my. This isn't a case of just a dreamy hot alpha male, because while Cain is all those things you expect out of a lead, he's also hard but vulnerable. He's more comfortable out with his dogs, ignoring the hurt and soldiering through past pain while turning every woman he come [...]

    24. Woah! What the heck just happened?!?! This is a definite 4 star read. I feel this one is the best of the series. It had the most character development and interaction, the most suspense and more twists and turns than you could keep up with. I felt completely done in by the time I read the last word. Sheridan suffered a traumatic experience and almost died at the age of sixteen; the boy she was with did die. She has blamed herself for over ten years. In an effort to heal, her therapist thought th [...]

    25. I enjoyed it, but it didn’t pull me in enough or surprise me enough to give it more stars. Mystery lovers should like itORY BRIEF:Cain was a loner and a magnet for women, but he never became emotionally attached. Sheridan fell for him when she was 15. They had a one-night encounter, and then he lost interest. She wanted to make him jealous so she went out one time with his brother Jason. Someone shot both Jason and Sheridan that night. Jason died. Sheridan survived. Her family then moved away. [...]

    26. LAST STAND 3 - BRENDA NovakSPOILER ALERTIni seperti menonton soap opera, banyak kaitan2 antara karakter2nya.

    27. 4 STARS"Teenagers Sheridan Kohl and Jason Wyatt were parked at the lake in Whiterock, Tennessee, when a stranger wearing a ski mask shot them both. Sheridan lived but Jason died - and the stranger was never caught. Even though Sheridan's family moved away right afterward, she's never been able to put the crime behind her.And now that someone doesn't want her to come homeBecause of a new development in the case, Sheridan returns to Whiterock. But when she's attacked a second time, it's only becau [...]

    28. Watch Me is the third book in this series and although I liked the book it is my least favorite so far. Sheridan is part of Last Stand and she helps victims. Sheridan was a victim as a teenager and now she is a survivor, when new evidence in the case is found she goes back. I think that this book focused more on the relationship between Cain and Sheridan than anything else. While the relationship was better rounded I felt that the mystery that was a big part of the first two books was pushed asi [...]
