    1. 5/5 starsIn the old-school style of Agatha Christie, Ngaio Marsh, etc, Five Facets of Murder sees a group of characters assembling in an old mansion for the weekend, which turns out to be less fun than expected due to a murder, a missing diamond, and lots of red herrings. It's a great who-dunnit that will keep you guessing until the end (I did figure out where the diamond was. Or did I really?). There is a boat-load of deception, with every character keeping secrets and hiding ulterior motives. [...]

    2. You can taste the author's love of Agatha Christie books with red herrings and plot twists galore. A very quick read as you won't want to put it down. Characters that you both love and hate. Who knows where the Percival diamond is hidden, who is the murderer and will the self-doubting inspector be able to solve the mysteries?
