    1. The book was fantastic. I had a hard time putting it down. I loved the mystical world of the Fey and faeries, although thanks to reading Monings "Highlander and Fever Series" previously I was already familiar with the legends.

    2. As fantasies go, this is v. good. One just must keep in mind that there will be some semblance of purple prose. Rather fitting I suppose, seeing as how the H has amethyst eyes.So the H has some sort of weird mating thing whereupon he delivers a glorified hickey to the chosen mate's jaw. Well and good except that he's somewhat under a spell, therefore the mate may not be the mate. Clear as mud, right? So essentially, that's what the book is about - his falling for her, trying to claim her without [...]

    3. Abandoned at birth on the shores of a sacred loch, Bryna never new her family or true heritage. She exists as a slave in the fortress of a Roman invader, her only friend an ancient, blind Druidess, Derina. Her life is bleak and without hope. And then Derina tells her she must rescue the prisoner in the dungeon.Tynan lies naked, chained to a cold, stone slab, both bidy and mind tortured by the Sorccerer, evil ally of the Roman lord. The Sorccer's purpose? To discover if this one, at last might be [...]

    4. I did not really think much of this book, for some reason the story seemed to have been written and then published without the author reading back on what he had wrote. Some events happened without the reader knowing, this happened because the event that should have transpired before a specific event did not occur. one example for instance was about the character Eamon. After the whole fight for Bryna, the book never mentioned that he dissapeared until later in one sentence it let on that they c [...]

    5. This was a barely acceptable fantasy-type historical romance. The characters were kind of predictable (especially for someone who has read so many fantastical/paranormal romances). It did offer some new notions of the celtic fairies, which was interesting, but overall it just wasn't enough to truly grab me.I'll tell you what did grab me, though and not in a good way. The man on the cover of this book is UGLY! Everytime my husband saw me reading it, he would say "How can you read a romance book w [...]

    6. I really wish I could find more stories like this one. I loved the way the author brings you into this story and her world, paints this land with these ancient people and beings in it. You really get a good feeling of the things that are going on in this story. It is a good fantasy romance, with that erotic quality to it. A must read if you enjoy this type of read.

    7. Bryna has such a kind heart, you only wish for her to be happy. I enjoyed reading this book. I found myself laughing and even shouting at it while I was reading. Very intertaining.
