    1. Shifters and witches are a rare combination, so I was very excited to see both feature prominently in Marcy Jacks’s new series ‘Immortal Knights’. Add the whole idea of some secret organization of knights protecting humans and shifters alike, and I was hooked before page one! But then the whole drama began to unfold - from Kevin being captured by the knights, to the return of some of his memories and the old and new threats the group faces – and I was doubly hooked. From the concept to t [...]

    2. It's weird that he used to be a woman. I mean it's fine--I don't have an issues with transgender stuff at all--but it's awkward how they go on and on about his past as if that were the real him not this incarnation. He asks several times if it bothers Alastair he's now a man. This whole book has a melancholy feel to it. Interesting and unusual world. They talk about protecting against the "otherworldly," though, and nothing like that has appeared 2/3rds of the way through. It's don't like that t [...]

    3. It was okay. I don't feel this is a full book and should not be priced at $4 (I rounded up). It ends right when it is starting to get into the story. I felt what it did have was too cluttered with too many themes; Reincarnation, Transgender'ish, Varies Shifters, Old Gods, Witches, Revenge, M/M sex, Male pregnancy. Kindle format is 113 pages and it had a lot going on, and then it just stops! I'm too curious for my own good so I will probably, EVENTUALLY read the rest but I will wait to see if I c [...]

    4. 2.5 stars - Not a bad beginning, though I'd wish there was less sex and more plot involved. Borrowed current 5 books in this series from a friend and going to binge-read. We'll see how it goes.
