    1. This short story couldn't have come at a better time.I literally just had a conversation about how many queer books demonize the ex girlfriend to prove a man’s gayness. We went on about how biphobic this approach was, and how amazing it would be if writers considered polyamory as an alternative. So this book here? It’s exactly what I was looking for. It's bi & poly d my faith in humanity is fully restored.Sure, it’s niche market - but my goodness am I ever glad it exists. We also get a sp [...]

    2. What did I just read?? Polyamorous kinky triad (f/m/m) who are also mothmen??? Whaaat? I was totally into this. Much consent and love here! I would have liked this to be stretched out more in some spaces, but it's a great beginning. There's a pretty graphic description of the MC's first shift into a mothperson towards the end, so heads up for that.Edit: combing through the reviews, this is #ownvoices for First Nations rep too!

    3. Very exciting read! This story pulled me in from page one. I was instantly drawn to Shea, a young woman who'd lost her family and in turn became lost herself, and the world was so immersive I just couldn't stop reading. Just as Shea is about to undergo a major transformation in her life, of the paranormal sort, she hooks up with her ex-boyfriend and his new boyfriend. The love scenes are hot! It's a completely accurate representation of a real-life BDSM relationship, with the added value of the [...]

    4. "I speak your name, I remember you."* * *First off, I don't read a lot of erotica, so I don't feel super-qualified to comment here. However, I really did appreciate the positive and healthy portrayal of a poly BDSM relationship, with a strong emphasis on consent, safe words, and communication! There's also, I believe, ownvoice Native/First Nation rep, which I also can't comment on, but glad to see it here and included in a story I really liked. And steamy scenes aside, there is a solid story here [...]

    5. Moths are just such lovely creatures. If you've ever seen one under the microscope and fallen in love, or if you just plain like good paranormal erotica, this is a great read for you! I loved this book. The plot was original, and I definitely look forward to the next in the series. The sensual descriptions in the juicy scenes will make your heart flutter like the wings of a moth or butterfly, and bring a warm blush to your face. Also, I am in 100% approval for the manner in which the BDSM scenes [...]

    7. Excellent read!If you like magic, romance with sex and myths coming alive, this is a story to read and enjoy! I hope that Kaelan has more and the story continues.

    8. Disclaimer: I received a digital copy from the author for an honest review. Trigger Warning: There’s a few times in the story where suicide and the death of Shea’s dad is brought up. This is a heavy story in the beginning so if any of those topics bother you, maybe skip it until you are. Also, the first shift one of the characters has is pretty graphic. “Mothmen” is a stand alone short story that takes place in Georgia. The main character is Shealyn MacConnelly, Shea for short, who is go [...]

    9. I read this engaging novella in two sittings. The heroine, Shea, is lost. Nothing feels right for her. She lost her family. She's sort of wandering, trying to figure out what to do with herself. She's all meh about life. With the help of two hot guys, she finds herself. Turns out she's a shifter and is about to reach her time to shift into a moth. The men are shifters too. Along with some crazy hot three-way sex, they take her under their wings (pardon the pun) to show her the ropes of what it's [...]

    10. This book is one of those books where I really enjoyed parts of it but as a whole it just didn't catch me. I liked the central characters, the sex scenes were super hot and it was so great and refreshing to see some polyamorous romance and some upfront dialogues about consent, safe sex and preferences. But the story itself didn't catch my interest, nor did the fantasy aspects. I also found the prose itself wasn't as clean and polished as I would've liked. Just not my cup of tea, I think.

    11. Mothmen is very interesting and compelling story. The romance was great, a poly M/M/F relationship, and very good and consensual sexy times. Also, ownvoices Native rep. It has a happy and beautiful ending but there are discussions about depression and suicide, so please be careful.
