    3. Thank you StMargarets for this lovely read. Super-angsty, poignant, and intense, with all the right ingredients: an independently-wealthy, self-sufficient, intelligent heroine who made something of herself despite all the worst circumstances; a tortured, vengeful-yet-pining-for-love Hero; a tragic, angst-ridden past between the two; and an ultimately satisfying, no-holds-barred Hero grovel. Let's hear it for proper grovels!
