    1. Lindsay Harrel's writing is something special, that's for sure! This story hits all the right notes. It's poignant, heart-touching and the kind of story that sticks with you long after the last page. Plus, I loved the Nashville / music scene angle--it felt vibrant and authentic. The best kinds of stories are the ones that drop me in a new place and make me feel like I'm thered Harrel definitely accomplished that. I'm so excited to see what this new author has for us next!

    2. “She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her, ‘You are the God who sees me.’” Gen. 16:13 Lindsay Harrel’s debut novel is an inspirational, touching story. I’m glad I added it to my Kindle Classroom Library because I think my students are going to love it! Yes, the main character is older than my readers, but my students face the same emotional highs and lows, the same blunders that add up to a no-good-horrible-very-bad day—or month!—and the same doubts about whether God is tr [...]

    3. Lindsay Harrel was a new to me author and this is her first book. A very GOOD first book, I may add. I am going to make it a point to read her next book based on this one.She has created a wonderful story, populated with good characters with a very believable plot to match. I enjoyed it very, very much. The spiritual element is quite good as well. I love it when a writer who writes Christian fiction is not afraid to be bold about her faith. I will be reading more from Lindsay Harrel.*I was given [...]

    4. Lindsay Harrel’s debut novel is a well-spun story! The story is one of hardships and successes, generational curses and the ability to overcome them, trials, heartaches, forgiveness, and love. One More Song to Sing tells the story of one girl’s quest to find her mother and the story of the mother who left that child behind and the reasons why she left her. 5. I loved this book. The characters, the story, the settingl of it came alive for me as I read. When I wasn't reading, I was thinking about the story, the characters. They felt like real people that I wanted to catch up with. I loved the mother-daughter story, as well as the truths they each learned. Second chance stories always make me smile. Highly recommend!

    6. The things we experience as children have a lasting effect on us. We may come to believe lies about who we are and who we can become. One More Song to Sing looks with honesty at the hurts, the lies, the labels, the fears and the hopes that don't really seem possible. With Marie, Olivia, Ellie, Nick & Andres, we learn that God never leaves us stuck in "the impossible". He can make a way where there seems to be no way. The book is well-written with characters I came to love. I'll be watching [...]

    7. UnputdownableAn achingly beautiful story of loss, regret, and redemption, set in the Nashville music scene. I meant to go to sleep hours ago, but couldn't resist reading "just one more chapter." And now it's 2 a.m. and my alarm will go off in just a few hours. But I don't regret a bit staying up to finish this lovely book. Highly recommended.

    8. A lovely story of redemption and second chances. Relatable characters will capture your heart and you'll be rooting for them all the way to the end. Looking forward to more from this talented author.

    11. This was a story filled with heartache, loss, regret, forgiveness and learning to overcome the past. Ellie is in Nashville for two reasons, to search for her mom and to pursue her music. These characters captured my heart and had me rooting for things to turn out for them. I connected with Ellie from the beginning and felt for her as the search for her mom seemed to only be leading to dead ends. Will she find answers or peace? Where will Ellie’s music take her? The moments between Ellie and Ni [...]

    12. One More Song to Sing by Lindsay Harrel- book reviewA new young singer comes to Nashville to reach for her dreams, but her dreams are not just of becoming a star, but to find a mother she never met. Ellie longs to belong, to find her place in the world. This story gives us a picture of the music industry and what the music community is like. But more than that, it shows us family relationships. It explores the depth of how generations can be affected by bad decisions and how the cycle of life ca [...]

    13. Marie Culloway left more than just a name behind when she fled small town Oklahoma for Nashville 23 years ago. An unwed teenage mother, she left her daughter with the child's father and never looked back. Changing her name to Olivia Lovett, she enjoyed success as a country music singer. Searching for a fresh voice to launch a new record label, she finds Ellie Evans, who has that spark Olivia has been looking for.Ellie also left Oklahoma looking for more than just a music career. She's looking fo [...]

    14. This book is a great read! I usually only read nonfictionychology, history, etc though I do try out fiction books pretty regularly because I like the idea of relaxing with a story. Most of my fiction book selections are abandoned after 50 pages because I'm not hooked (with the exception of classic literature). This book was very different. The characters were believable and not exaggeratedke people you actually know in real life. The story line was sweet and thoughtful at the same time. And if y [...]

    15. “One More Song to Sing”, the debut novel, by Lindsay Harrel is a touching story of fear, loss and finally redemption. The main characters grab your attention and your heart through trials, misunderstanding, and lineally resolving in love and happiness.
