    1. Wonderful. Highly recommend it. The evolution of an isolated soul to discovering from the corporeal world, the noncorporeal and the ultimate finality: God. Although Islamic in reference, it portrays the quest of the soul to discover the Supreme Being from a universal perspective.

    2. A tale written in the early 12th century. It is both entertaining and deep philosophical and, i think, ahead of its time. Original title: Hayy ibn Yaqdhan by Ibn Tufail.
