    1. I read the first book The Red Shawl and enjoyed it so much so I instantly wanted to read the follow up.This book did not disappoint. I enjoy the deep characterisation by the author and the story flowed so effortlessly. The references to my local coast of Whitby and surrounding towns always holds my interest as my imagination works overdrive visualising just how things where from the authors descriptions.
