    1. IT’S AMAZING WHAT THE LORD CAN DO ONCE YOU LEARN TO GET OUT OF HIS WAYI enjoyed this emotional Christian western romance. Jack Carlson was blinded months before the Civil War ended, to him, he is so bitter, angry and cynical that he wish his life had ended instead of being left helpless. To say he is having a pity party is true, but for a man in the 1860s, he is limited, especially considering her had a bright future. With no family left, only one cousin and his wife willing to help, he winds [...]

    2. So Kit Morgan is the author that I stumbled across last year that introduced me to the whole mail order bride/western historical romance/kindle book thing. I have loved everything that I've read by her and this is no different. You really can't go wrong reading any book by Kit Morgan.

    3. Short, slow, and predictable. Had trouble connecting with the characters. It's too bad, because I really wanted to like this one. It just wasn't for me.

    4. Reviewed at Historically RomanticThat Healing Touch is the first in the clean and sweet Western Historical series, Cutter’s Creek. It is a long running (twenty titles as of this date), multiple author series that showcases the pioneer days right after the Civil War when America was growing, and healing from the devastating results of war.Jack Carlson knew the results of war. Didn’t really matter if you were on the winning end or not, the damage done would last a lifetime. Jack lost his eyesi [...]

    5. Ended too quicklyI really love sweet, feel good stories as well as movies. The big problem with them is you have this good show with some problem, tension, or suspense for most of the show and then in the last 5 minutes everything gets fixed. This book was just the same. You read along and the male lead is being a putz and then he did a complete 180 degree turn and I was like "wait, what happened there" and then the book was over. So, the problem is - the ending was way too quick and the book wa [...]

    6. Love Kit Morgan's books I loved this book ! I've always loved reading mail order bride books . Could be because of my grandmother's story . She was a mail order bride and Kit brings out the same feeling that I got from lessoning to my grandmother's story.

    7. A dream comes trueVery good story of two shattered lives that learn all will work out.I was disappointed that a resolution to find Emma was not in the ending. I do hope her story will be forthcoming.

    16. Very delightful and cute story that takes place just after the civil war. Young lady named Willow answers add for a mail order bride half way across the country. Once arriving at Cutters Creek she finds that things are not going the way she thought they would. In fact the intended groom Jack has no idea why she is there. I thought the flow of the story was very good. I loved the dialogue between the characters in the story. Very humorous. I enjoyed this story . Would recommend it to anyone who r [...]

    18. What a great read. You won't find the perfect man with everything going for him. You will find a woman who is willing to help him. A beautiful love story of looking past the outer flaws and seeing the inner beauty.

    19. This book was mostly good. I had a hard time relating to the scenes where there was too much comedy over misunderstandings.

    20. Willow has been in love with her brother’s friend for as long as she can remember. She would follow them around as a young girl to spend time with him. After he left to the war, Willow didn’t think she would see him again. Little did she know that when she decided to become a mail order bride that he would be her intended. Traveling to Cutter’s Creek, Willow did not know that Jack had no clue she was coming to be his bride. Being blind and having to learn to read and do things on his own, [...]

    21. I enjoyed this book. It is my first mail order bride read. My heart went out to Jack and Willow. All is not lost if handicap hits. I liked how the author showed realistic struggles in coping with Jack's handicap, the emotional toil and depression one encounters and ultimately triumph in finding someone to be in your corner and love you without pity.Willow had a childhood love for Jack, her brother's friend but was she prepared for the new man and the new change to what she remembered. After proc [...]

    22. Sarahs healing touchI gave this 4 stars it is well written. The only thing I didn't like is I wanted more . you don't needsigt to fee love and give it. Sarah shows him that not to sit around feeling sorry for your self but ask for help sometimes.

    23. Willow is strong because she has to be, she's lost everything she's ever loved to the war, including her brothers best friend Jack who drug her heart off to war with him. When she becomes a mail-order bride and her intended has the same name, well it couldn't possibly be himor could it?Willow's heart is destined to break at least once more before she can be healed of her hurt. In this heart-warming, sweet tale Jack must learn to find worth in himself and Willow must help him. But, that's not the [...]

    25. SweetProbably closer to a three star but I really enjoyed the sweetness of this one. Will I read it again Probably not but I am glad I read it! I hope there is a story for Lucius and Emma. If you want a good, warm and fuzzy story of love and overcoming trials by getting out of Gods way; then this is the story for you.

    26. Wonderful storyThat Healing Touch (Cutter's Creek book 1) by Kit Morgan is a wonderful heart warming story. This is a touching story that shows the different stages one goes through with death, war. the loneliness, anger, fear, rage, self pity, patience, love and more. It's worth your time to read this heart warming story. Thanks

    27. I loved it! So sweet and pure! She's loved him since she was 10 and God ordains for them to be reunited after the war (as a mail order bride his cousin secretly arranged) but he's not the same man anymore! The war took his family and his eyesight! And all he has left is anger and loneliness! Until she melts his heart with her patient love!

    28. Love conquers allEver the believer, Willow has always believed that she would find her one true love, the person she has always loved. GOD didn't mislead her or her Jack, just sent them in a round about way back to each other. Never fear, Kit has brought us another story of great love and romance to melt your heart.

    29. Helping handKit has a new hit and town on her hands. Welcome to Cutter's Creek. Willow as been in love since she was ten. Jack was stubborn and happen to be blind. Willow was sent to be his mail order bride but he didn't know it. What happens the Lord had a help in. Enjoy!
