    1. Absolutely and entirely ghastly. No narrative flow. Very much structured like a TV episode. 'I'm here! Now I'm somewhere else! Now I'm over there!' Unfortunately, both my children really liked it. (*) To quote DD(3), "Dora has a dress!" Who am I to argue?1 star from me, 5 from them(*) I do invest a lot of effort into dramatic reading of the material, such as it is. I'd be tempted not to for this bilge, but a) it would be too horrifying if they still enjoyed it and b) I'd be bored to tears otherw [...]

    2. Snow is awesome It's about snow and it is awesome and it has princess and fairies and tricks,I also like it because it's fun

    3. My girls loved reading this for bedtime!!!So fun! We loved this book! Glad it was here! has such great choices of books to read with my kids.

    4. Kids loved itFelt just like watching Dora on tv, the questions, call to action. It was all very participatory and the kids loved it

    5. We have a lot of good books and yet this is one of the ones that my kids go back to time and again.I don't know if it's the familiarity from TV or whether they like that Dora, a kid like them, saves the day, but they sure do love it.It's not a bad story, so if your kids love Dora, this is a good one (or good collection) to get for them.

    6. Gotta love all the Dora books. This is set just like the tv show so there can be so much interaction while reading. Gotta call map and save the princess. As my daughter says when we read this I want to jump in a book too, it would be such an adventure.

    7. Abysmal. But the message told at the end - that anyone can feel like a prince or princess if they are kind, brave, and help their friends - is nice. Except the story itself doesn't really reflect that.

    8. The adventure parts are cool, and I'm glad the witch isn't "ugly", but i wish her nose wasn't noticably bigger than the other human characters, and i definitely wish this story didn't advocate jumping on ("into") books.
