    1. My son liked this book. He's been reading for a while and this book only had a few words which he needed help with. Otherwise it was an engaging read which made him feel good about his reading skills.The author talks about how she used to think toads were gross and would give her warts, but when one came to live in her garden she grew to like it.     2. The information that I learned from this children's book about toads makes me want to have one as a pet! I really recommend this series as a quick & happy way to learn about the creatures around us. Cute & full of facts--I wish I read more of these as a kid!
