    1. Carrie-Ann has been in love with Tom ever since she was six years old. He's a few years older and has always been friendly, but she was still a child. Now that she's nineteen and legally an adult he might finally notice her. Carrie-Ann works for Maggie on Nutt Hill and Tom works on her husband's farm. They don't often run in to each other, but when they do Carrie-Ann leaves an impression and Tom is finally starting to fall for her. Only fate can be cruel sometimes and it manages to come between [...]

    2. Carrie-Ann has been in love with Tom for many years. Tom is a bit older than she is, so they never really moved in the same circles. When the opportunity arises for Carrie-Ann to work with Maggie, a fierce lady in a wheelchair, she takes this chance immediately. Tom works on Maggie's farm, so Carrie-Ann is hoping that she'll regularly run into him. Now that she's an adult she hopes that age isn't an obstacle anymore. Will Tom finally start noticing her? Tom has always lived in the same small tow [...]

    3. Wendy Lou Jones did a stellar job sharing this story of young love. There were parts that made me sad, laugh, cry and get really mad. It was truly a beautifully written story with a happily ever after. This was a sweet, beautiful romance story about a girl who has loved a particular boy since she was 6 years old. Only thing is he is 6 yrs. older than her and she's almost 20 but he still hasn't noticed her.

    4. Amazing, wonderful book! I feel like I've been on an emotional roller coaster. This book captured my attention from the beginning with the sweet crush that Carrie-Ann has on her employer's ranch hand, Tom. She's painfully shy around him, and she wonders if she could ever get his attention, especially since he's six years older than her. Carrie is a companion to Maggie, and Maggie is a bit of a match-maker. What follows is a fun, awkward and surprising series of events. It's a heart-tugging beaut [...]

    5. ***I voluntarily read an Advanced Review Copy of this book. All opinions stated are solely my own and no one else’s. ***Sun on Sundays by Wendy Lou Jones is a women’s fiction romance about a young woman named Carrie-Anne Crowley. She lives in a small village/town with her mother and younger siblings. She works for an older woman whose name is Maggie and is basically her personal assistant and companion. Carrie-Anne is secretly in love with a young man named Tom Thornton who works there but T [...]

    7. Sun on Sundays by Wendy Lou Jones is a wonderful romance story. I really enjoyed Tom and Carrie-Ann's story. The two of them worked well together even though they both had hurdles they had to overcome during the course of their relationship. I liked that their story wasn't insta-love and then happily ever after. I liked most of the secondary characters as well most of them were delightful. I look forward to visiting Nut Hill again sometime in the future.Carrie-Ann can't remember a time that she [...]

    8. Title: Sun On SundayAuthor: Wendy Lou JonesPublisher: Create Independent Publishing PlatformReviewed By: Arlena DeanRating: FIVE Review:"Sun On Sundays" by Wendy Lou JonesMy ThoughtsThis was quite a romance about Carrie Ann and Tom's life who both seemed to have a big problem with 'self confidence.' It seems like neither one of these two actually spoke and listened well to each other and even those around them often did not share, therefore there will be many conflicts that will present many twi [...]

    9. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a copy. This is the second book I have read by this author and a truly love the writing style. Carrie Ann and Tom's storyCarrie Ann has been in love with Tom forever. He was kind to her when others were not and she never forgot it. She has been trying to get his attention for some time but is unsure how to go about art when she gets tongue-tied ever time he is near. Tom really never paid Carrie Ann much attention as he thought she was much younger [...]

    10. Once again, Wendy Lou Jones has created another brilliant novel. This new tale is just as sweet and addictive as her other novel that I read. I love how believable her characters are. It's easy to connect with them on every level. Their dilemmas and troubles seem to be the only thing standing in their way. However, as with everything there's always help coming on the way. But even with some help there's still doubt if the new relationship will stay or break. Themes like family, life, work, and f [...]

    11. Talk about missed opportunities, this book is full of them! Carrie-Ann has been in love with Tom since she was 6-yrs-old; Tom didn't notice her until she she started working at Nutt Hill at age 19.Other reviewers have said to settle back for a "long, slow read"I think the book is way too long for the story they are trying to tell. Even with all the miscommunications and missed opportunities, the story could be shortened by approximately 20 chapters and still have the exact same result. This stor [...]

    12. This was a long, slow, sweet read. Part family saga and part romance, it is one of the most realistic romances I have read. The story begins when Carrie-Ann's wheelchair bound boss decides to meddle in Carrie's non-existant love life. Carrie has loved Tom for years, but he has never looked at her that way. Until the night of the dance, when Carrie's boss has her wear a vintage dress that she wore when she was Carrie's age. There are a lot of ups and downs and interruptions between Carrie and Tom [...]

    13. Sun on Sundays. Wow! Wendy did it again. This book was intense and thrilling. Carrie-Anne and Tom's romance was crazy! I cried, laughed, and even got mad while reading this book. The story grabs you and you feel like you are there going through all the heartache Carrie-Anne and Tom went through. They go through some very traumatic problems as they try to hold on to their love. If her family was a little more understanding and forgiving in the beginning so much of what they went through could hav [...]

    14. This was a sweet, well-written book. Carrie-Ann is 19 and has been in love with Tom as long as she can remember. But he hasn't noticed her Her new boss is a romantic at heart and thinks maybe all they need is a little nudge I enjoyed this book and look forward to others in the series. This book is a standalone book, though it is a part of a series with related characters placed in the same setting. I received a copy of the book from the author or publisher in exchange for my honest opinion or re [...]

    16. **I received a copy of the book from the author or publisher in exchange for my honest opinion or review of the book.Sun on Sundays was a sweet read. What starts as a girlish crush turns into an epic love story. Carrie-Ann & Tom's story was beautifully written. It was refreshing to read a more traditional love story with a fun array of secondary characters, good & bad, to add colour and chaos to the couple's lives. I enjoyed it and I will put on my list of books to read again a second ti [...]
