    4. A forgettable read with a ridicilous plot.About three triplets who are out to find the truth about their birth and who their father is.They seemed to be under the delusion if that they could prove that the prince regent was their father they would be set for life. Er come again? Let me remind you that its supposed to be the 19th century. Being born outside marriage pretty much meant that you were considered a bit apart from polite society. I doubt the prince regent would go "Capital! Three basta [...]

    5. What I learned: it's not interesting to read a book that has cardboard secondary characters, poorly developed interaction between the scantily developed main characters, and a not-really-interesting possibility that the triplets might be royalty. So what if they are--unclear how much of a difference it would make in their lives if these girls turn out to be the illegit daughters of a prince. The book reads more like an outline.

    6. I think this story would be much better without the added questions behind the Royle sister's real parents. I also found the first time Mary is seduced in the carriage a bit unbelievable - one glass of wine and she forgets all propriety and sleeps with the duke?

    7. This was a fun book to read. Mary and her two sisters have come to London from Cornwall after the death of their father. While going through his papers they discovered that there is a mystery attached to their births. They feel that if they can talk to their father's friends, maybe they can discover the truth. The story that they hear stuns them - that they may be the illegitimate daughters of the Prince of Wales. Their father's friends are determined to help them find the truth, at the same tim [...]

    9. This book was okay. It started out really slow with family history of just her family. Towards the middle end it got really fast paced, almost too fast paced and was really really unrealistic. It was kind of silly, the plot. I wouldn't read it again.

    10. Thought the story started well, but just did not delivered to my expectations. It has some good humor. It seemed the romance was rushed and somewhat.extremely unrealistic. Needless to say, I had a lot of issues with the romance part of the story. Sad, because it had potential.

    11. The story progressed pretty quickly and the love affair happened pretty quickly too. Not sure how convinced I was of it . What is gonna keep me reading this series is the royal mystery! That has me hooked!

    12. The star of this novel is its heroine Mary. She was just an incomparable: she was so funny, bossy to her 2 sisters, a little shrewish at times to the hero but he deserved it and I laughed at the efforts she took to try and save money. Mary was FUN ! Mary decided she wanted to marry the hero's brother, who is a war hero. She hadn't met the sexy hero yet but she saw his brother a couple times in the park and decided he would be perfect as a husband. This girl just made me laugh ! I loved the openi [...]

    13. Dukes do it for me. Grand, overbearing, somewhat rude, overcontrolling, always on top of their game, seductive dukes. I dare not overthink it.That's not to say that there weren't plot holes the size of my romantic imagination and some pretty abrupt transitions but the chemistry was there. Mary was scandalously funny and Rogan could up, paint me white and call me a goddess. Dukes, they are my men.

    15. Not a lot stood out about this historical romance by Kathryn Caskie. I consider it your averagely entertaining Regency romance. The hero is your typical sexy, alpha male. The most outstanding trait being his maybe too ruthless character even in the face of his on going chase and attraction to the heroine. He doesn't seem to have any problem hurting and using her to achieve his own goals which he has convinced himself are selfless. At first, he is intriguing, but his continued ruthless game becom [...]

    16. I enjoyed the premise of the book, even if it was far fetched. My big problem came with the ending and how a short explanation led to everything being A-Okay uh, no not so in real life. I thought Mary was stupid for storming out of the house near the end of the book because she thought Rogan wrote the gossip column. I thought it was stupid because by that time, Mary was already 'in love' with him and I would think that that would prove that he loved her as well had he been the one to actually wr [...]

    18. This series starts with a very funny scene of the triplets in a garden dressed as statues! It was really quirky! It is a fun story with a bit of mystery behind the girls parentage that runs through the series. I really liked the book even though the Hero had some serious character flaws. It was also rather regency formulaic. It also has it's fair share of steamy scenes! I am eager to read the next book in the series!! It has a very promising start.

    19. I began reading this book and could NOT put it down. The premise of the book is very interesting and pulled me in right away. I loved the relationship between the sisters, very real. I'm definitely going to read the next two books in the series! Because I believe in love :0)Royle Sisters Trilogy, 1

    20. I picked this book because I thought the title was so cute, but the book was just ok. I thought it was fairly inconsistent at times. Like, they said Mary was tall and then she had trouble seeing over people. I also thought that Rogan was a dumb name, so I had trouble liking him because of that. However, parts of it were charming and I will be reading the rest.

    21. Mary wants to marry the viscount from a young age but it is thwarted by his older brother Rogan who decides to seduce her himself. Rogan is a Duke who, after a series of mishaps and a drunken carriage ride of lust, falls for Mary.

    22. Well this story is definitely an improvement to the third instalment. Two characters who are attracted to each other but are held back by mutual distrust and their need for one puma ship. Shame about their so called protectors and Rogan's brother . They were annoying to say the least.

    23. I thought the heroine was an idiot. She wasn't quite TSTL, but she came close and I found my eyes rolling at her more than once. The plot was good, and only the mystery kept me reading. I rarely skim books, but I skimmed large parts of this one.

    24. Although this book was an obvious set-up for a trilogy (or more) it was witty and engaging. I thought there were too many "misunderstandings" and there was one ridiculous page where one of the triplets has the power of premonition. It took me about 2 hours to read.

    25. I really enjoyed this story. I loved the characters, the mystery and the 'quirkiness' of the triplets. The main male character in this story is of course an awful Drake who is tamed without ever realizing it.I am starting the second book asap.

    26. I'd wish it could have been more of everything! Bit of disappointment but I think I'll try again and see if Book 2 will be better. I honestly didn't like the hero at all. I found Rogan a snob, mean-spirited & rude.
