    1. Very concise book on Egypt’s history and mythology. Really easy to take in and very interesting. Excellent gateway book.

    2. Egypt mother of civilizationAnother interesting piece from hourly history. Egyptian Mythology has shaded additional light to some questions I had; though concise, it encloses almost everything I needed.

    3. This book isn’t exactly about Egyptian Mythology but more about the history of Egyptian Mythology. Only the basic creation myths are highlighted in this book. If one wants to read in depth about ancient Egyptian myths, then this is not the book.

    4. Another in an excellent series! The second in this series, this one concentrating on the Egyptian gods! Although this book never lists all the gods (which there are quite a few!)Its still very good without being boring!

    5. I liked it.It was a very light, informative introduction to ancient Egypt.Very easy to comprehend. A great read for beginners.

    6. RecomendadoComo introducción a la egiptología , este libro es genial. De fácil comprensión y lectura, bastante claro, objetivo e interesante.

    7. While I enjoyed it, the book was needed to be larger. At best it will whet your appetite for more Egyptian mythology

    8. A very short intro to Egyptian mythologyQuick and to the point. A bit too brief for my taste, but a nice starting place to begin a study in the interest.

    9. This is, indeed, a concise guide to ancient Egyptian beliefs and their mythology; the book can be read in about an hour. Though an overview, it outlines their mainstream orthodox belief system and tells the stories of how their gods were created, or “born.” There are a few errors, however, such as the author stating that the Nile River flows from the North, rather than correctly from the South. Conversely, there is a lot of good information on the priest hierarchy and how they fit into daily [...]

    10. Robert has written a very compelling book about Egyptian mythology. It started out a bit slow, yet once he got to telling of the lore of the Gods, it got better and better as it went. Those who love genealogy will like the flow of the book, historians will find it to be extremely fascinating, and if you are both, this is a must read. I would also recommend it to anyone who is just looking to study Egyptian mythology for the first time. It is short enough, that it wont overwhelm you, yet it still [...]

    11. Egyptian Mythology begins with a timeline for ancient Egypt - several pages dedicated to the history of the country. After that, the author discusses the myth of creation, ancient Egyptian gods (the main ones are covered), the role of the temple, and ancient beliefs regarding life after death. The writing style is very much like a text book. A lot of information is packed in the 52 pages. Those who are interested in an overview of Egyptian history and mythology will find the book worthwhile. Any [...]

    12. So I love how this book was super easy and quick to read but I actually learned a lot from it, like how the economy more closely resembled a socialist system than anything else, how there was a complete oneness between church and state (basically the church was the state), and that Egyptians believed you'd either go to heaven or cease to exist--there was no version of hell. The religion of ancient Egypt actually sounds really chill.

    13. I like this series. They are highly informative and short. They could use some editing but still serve their purpose as a quick guide to whichever myth they are about. The Egyptians have always fascinated me. This isn't the first book I have read on their myth and won't be the last. I may have to find the author's work on the Vikings now.

    14. Good introduction This book contains good information to comprehend the basics of Egyptian Mithology, yet it still lacks more profound narrative about the topic.

    15. Names? Many names were either spelled wrong or had extra letters added in. Kardesh? Anum? Just a run through from someone who barely remembers their archaeology class

    16. GoodThis was a wonderful book that included not only Mythology but the History and alternative less know facts about Egypt Definitely worth your time

    17. Very informativeThe book was very informative and concisely written. I found the book to a quick background on Egyptian Mythology. Good read.
