    1. 4 Love With A Side Of Justice Stars"Like what you see, Ms. Taylor?" he finally said. "Just wondering the same, Detective," she shot back. -Connor and RaineTrust Me is the 4th book in the Donovan Family series and can be read as a stand alone. I haven't read any of the other books in this series and I didn't have any problems. Although as I got to know the Donovan family through this book and it made me want to go back and read their stories too. This book had a great plot and a steady pace. It k [...]

    2. **** 4.5 Cranky Stars ****Although this is book four in the series, it can easily be read as a standalone. This story centers on Connor Donovan and similar to the rest of his family, he’s involved in law enforcement.A detective, Connor usually doesn’t take the type of phone call about people trespassing. It’s below his jurisdiction, but that fateful call is going to change his life.Arriving at the scene, he encounters a woman running and when he engages her, all he’s left with is an item [...]

    4. ARC REVIEWI jumped on this bandwagon a little late. This is book four of Margaret Watson’s Donovan Family series it can be read as a stand-alone just fine, but now I want to go back and read the other three. This is my first Margaret Watson book and I like her style so far. It was very engaging and well-paced the characters are relatable and likeable. The sexual tension was delectable and even after the H/h had sex the tension was still there, probably because the situation it happened in. I l [...]

    5. Trust is a funny thing that doesn’t come easily for some people. Especially Raine and Connor. After her sister Genie was murdered Raine shut down all her emotions and set herself only one task – to make the murderer pay. That murderer being her sisters husband Peter. She knows it was him but has no proof so ends up thinking up another plan to get justice, she just never thought it would lead her down the path it does. Connor on the other hand has had to deal with trust being broken by someon [...]

    6. This is one author that knows how to pull you in leaving you hanging over the edge of seat giving you thrills and suspense over and over again. I was hooked from the first page with a detective checking out a prowler ending in a foot race. When he pulls off the jacket he finds a woman before he knows it he has a foot in his chest and falling why the women gets away. With his pride on the line he looks and looks but she is gone lord what a women and what a body. Ms. Watson delivers one suspense a [...]

    7. I received this novel in exchange for an honest review. This was the only novel I received in exchange for an honest review of the seven book series. This review was originally posted on loveserially.wordpress. Overall Rating: 4 Quick & Dirty summary: Raine Taylor knows who killed her sister. The problem is the police aren’t willing to investigate. With a black belt in tae kwon do, Raine has a plan to catch the killer and doesn’t need a homicide detective getting in her way. Detective Co [...]

    9. This is the first book I have read by this author and even though it is book four in the series it can be read as a stand alone with no trouble at all. My guess is that this series is about the Donovan family, most of whom are involved with law enforcement of some type. Connor Donovan is a detective and this is his story. Connor usually doesn’t take trespasser calls but since his sister was already to be off her shift he offers to take the call. This is the start of things in his life changing [...]

    10. This was my first Margaret Watson book and I will definitely be checking out her other titles after reading Trust Me.Sparks fly from the outset when Connor and Raine meet under less then ideal circumstances. Neither truly trusts the other to begin with but they can't deny their chemistry and it isn't long before they are tearing up the sheets at night and working together during the day to bring justice for Raine's sister. The heat level was quite high in this romantic thriller and there was ple [...]

    11. Connor Donavan is detective with the Chicago police department. As he’s driving one night, a prowler call comes over the radio. The person that responds to the call is his younger sister, knowing she was way past shift, he volunteers to take the call for her.Rainne Taylor is a Ta Kwon Do instructor to a school program that she convinced the local Chicago PD to sponsor. As part of the sponsorship, Alex, another detective and someone else from the precinct pick up the girls after their meets and [...]

    12. Connor Donovan is a no-nonsense cop who is intrigued by the alluring prowler with the impressive kick.Story has a good pace that picks up rather quickly.Raine sounded like a cool chick. I mean, she teaches tae-kwan-do! Her mission is to teach her girls to live life with “invincible spirit.” Awesome!Of course, Raine has a dark quest that is admirable and courageous. She aims to bring her sister’s killer to justice, and she knows, without a shadow of a doubt, that the husband is in every way [...]

    13. I received a copy of this book from the author, Margaret Watson, for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.Trust Me is a suspense police romance. It has a strong willed kickass female lead and a male lead who has trouble trusting, until he meets his match.Let me start with the story. The writing is easy to get into and easy to disappear from reality. There is no heavy wording and the story had a good balance of steam and actual story. I got in very fast, but I found the middle to be [...]

    14. This was my first Margaret Watson book and it won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed this book it had a great mix of romance, suspense and angst. This story was well written and well paced, with extremely engaging and likable characters. I really liked both the heroine Raine, and the hero Connor. I haven't read the other books in this series so it can definitely be read as a stand alone. I really enjoyed the inclusion of several members of the Donovan family and can definitely see myself reading [...]

    15. Physical love making is the glue that holds this pair together.Raine Taylor is a tae kwon do instructor and she teaches teenage girls at school. Raine is little and attractive, but feels she is absolutely powerful when using these skills. But her sister Genie has been murdered and Raine is certain it was her husband Peter Northrup who did it. There isn’t enough proof to arrest him, so Raine is determined to find the evidence to jail him. Detective Connor Donovan received a call about a trespas [...]

    16. *I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*Raine is one of those people who's strong and determined, but only because she has to be. She'd do anything to make things right and to protect those who needed it, even if it means putting herself in the line of fire.Raine intrigues Conner; he wants to find out who she is and if all of his theories about her are correct. He's a very determined man when he wants to be, and he doesn't take no as an answer."Are you going t [...]

    17. Let me start by just clearing something up Yes this is book four in the Donovan Family series, however, you can read it as a standalone. There was one thing mentioned in this book that *might* have happened in a previous book, in which case it would be deemed a spoiler, but there is nothing missing from this book. However, if you wanted to start at book one I would imagine you would have a rounder experience. Raine and Connor I loved them both but was incredibly frustrated with them at the same [...]

    18. Wow, the book description just doesn't do this book justice. The description is too full of facts and short sentences and I didn't think I'd like it. But I gave it a chance anyway and I'm glad I did because this book was really good! It kept me entertained the whole time. So don't judge this book by the blurb because her writing is not like that at all.The point of view switched between the 2 main characters so you really get to know both of them. I liked this and it didn't get confusing, so it [...]

    19. *Received free from the author in exchange for an honest review*When I received this from the author, I decided to go ahead and download the first one, Love Me, and I’m so glad I did. Because of that, I already felt a connection to Conner and I’m so in love with his book.I haven’t read the two books before this but compared to Love Me, this one was rather dirty with two cases of some extreme PDA, at least it was dark and no one was around.I still love the writing, I was up until three to f [...]

    20. A free copy was generously provided by the author in exchange for an honest review. This was my first novel by Margaret Watson and definitely won't be my last one. Raine is a strong character and she is seeking revenge on her own for her sister's murder . She is convinced that her brother-in-law killed Genie and the law failed to do justice in this case. Raine decides to go on a hunt and find any prove that might prove her theory and put the murderer behind bars.Connor Donovan is a Chicago police [...]

    22. I am quickly becoming a fan of Margaret Watson. Her story telling is well paced. The suspense elements do not drive me crazy (I'm usually not a fan!). And she writes characters that are interesting to read. This is Connor's story. He is the third the brothers to find his true love. Connor is a Chicago Police Detective and randomly offers to help his tired sister out by going on a call to a potential prowler. What a can of worms that move opens. He meets Raine and she immediately gets under his s [...]

    23. Riveting, and HeartwarmingConnor Donovan: A detective with five siblings and a loving mom who are all very close. He struggles with trusting anyone after being betrayed.Raine Taylor: A teacher and taekwondo coach. She's closed off and struggling with the loss of her sister and she's heck bent on getting justice. Both are strong and independent individuals set on helping others. The relationship moves quick but not too quickly it's full of twists and turns brought on by both of their histories . [...]

    24. I received a free copy from the author in exchange for an honest review.Rainie and Connor have an immediate attraction. She wants to know what really happened to her sister, who was found murdered some months ago. So, she is willing to take the law into her own hands. She is like an avenger. And Connor is, of course, a cop.The story is told in third person, which, made it more difficult to connect with the characters at the beginning. But this is something that happens just to me, probably. The [...]

    25. This was a good story. I connected with Raine on an emotional level. I know what it is like to lose someone especially at the hands of another. Revenge is a bittersweet emotion though and it takes a strong person to hunt it down and serve it up to the one that deserves it. Raine knows what it is like to be betrayed by the system and because of that broken system her sister paid the ultimate price.Connor lives the system and his reaction to Raine is not what he was expecting. His patience though [...]

    26. I received this for my honest review. This story is about Connor Donovan, he’s a detective, Connor doesn't usually respond to prowler call's but does his sister Mia a favour but that one call is going to change his life. On his arrival at the house he encounters a woman running and when he shouts to her she runs faster, all he’s left with is an item of clothing and a bruised chest from the kick she delivers before vanishing. Raine Taylor is a martial arts sensei training underprivileged girl [...]

    27. What are you prepared to do to get revenge? Raine will avenge her sister, who was killed by her husband even if that means putting herself in danger. Connor was Raine and he knows that she is up to something, when she tells him he vows to help her but only if she doesn't try something with her ex brother in law.Raine can't back down even if it means getting on Connor's bad side but he isn't about to let her get hurt. They both work together to see what they can find, they need proof and it isn't [...]

    28. There is something about Raine that makes Connor want to protect her and spend time with her, but Raine is very independent and fights him over every little thing when he is only trying to help. Raine is trying to make her sister's killer pay for what he did, and Connor, a cop, wants to do things his way. The sparks between these two are explosive but will the two of them survive the danger?I absolutely loved this book! I read the whole thing in one day. I need more of this family. I haven't rea [...]

    29. My first impression of this story: WOW! The danger and suspense in this story (Book 4 in the Donovan series) literally blew me away, it was so constant and fast-paced. The romance between Connor, a Chicago Policeman, and Raine, a teacher and Tai Kwan Do instructor for troubled girls in bad neighborhoods, didn’t take a back seat in the suspenseful plot either, but kept pace with the intrigue. I’m not giving any spoilers here so I’ll just say if you like romantic suspense, you need to read t [...]
