    1. I love this book! Chapter 2 is going to figure heavily into my September plan. Frank and Suzette share my philosophy of guiding students along a path to loving reading.

    2. There were some good ideas but I've found other books and authors who write about this topic much more engaging.

    3. Wordier than I like for the amount of theory/strategy it examines; not particularly thoroughly, either. Also, my classes are five months, not nine, so the pacing doesn't work.
