    1. This is comedic gold! If you love Portlandia then this book is for you. I was **writhing** with laughter!

    2. Fred Armisen is incredible. He is so talented and versatile. I do love Candace from Portlandia and her chemistry with Carrie Brownstein's character. While I did smile a bit through this brief audio and I enjoyed the tongue-in-cheek humor, it was not as laugh-aloud humorous as Portlandia but perhaps this was due to the inability to see Candace's [Fred's] facial expressions and body language in character. All-in-all, it was a good way to spend 15 minutes.

    3. This was hilarious! It read like a diary and I wished it was longer. There was also the liberal use of the word writhe, which was used to maximum effect.

    4. Fred Armisen as Candace is one of my favorite characters from Portlandia and I was really excited to find this Audiobook.I love how Candace describes everything in great detail (people, herself) and how she keeps true to her demanding and kind of bossy attitude. One of my Favorite Quotes: “Two weeks, I answered in a vaguely seductive but official tone.”Would I recommend it?: Yes (specially if you are a Portlandia’s fan). I would definitely enjoy listening to more Audiobooks like this one.

    5. This was hilarious! I am a big fan of the show Portlandia. So when I saw this short book on audible, ordering it was a no-brainer. The author and narrator of the book is Candace, the co-owner of the Women and Women First book store in Portland. This is the story of a short train ride and hotel stay from Brussels to Antwerp. I laughed so hard at this. If you are a fan of the show you will enjoy this.

    6. Fans of Portlandia will enjoy this extended audio sketch from one of Fred Armisen's best characters (Candace Devereaux). Funny and a quick listen, he stays true to his character of Candace the whole time. Not much substance to it (it is a comedy sketch, after all) and not recommended if you aren't a fan of Portlandia, but amusing if you are.

    7. I'm not even sure if i liked this book or not or even understand it or if the guy was gay or what I was so confused that I didn't know what was going on I was debating on what my review would be on this book would it be a 3 or 2 idk but it was just idk okay I guess.

    8. Fred Armisen, in his Portlandia "Candace" persona, spoofing both travelogues and audiobooks - just as funny as you'd imagine. And very short.

    9. Hmm I'm confused about this book I can't put my finger on it lmao. Its an alright book kind of caught my attention. Not sure if I'll listen to the full book or not though. Audible.

    10. Candace is one of my favorite characters from Portlandia and this little blurb sums her up perfectly. Audiobook is short and sweet just wish it were longer cause it had me giggling most of the time.

    11. Fits with the character, kind of an extended audio skit. If you like the show, the audio book is worth the 15 minute length to listen to this.
