    1. Getting to Know the U.S. Presidents by Mike Venezia is my favorite picture book series on the Presidents. These books make history fun with their humorous cartoons and interesting, easy to follow facts. Elementary schools and libraries would be remiss in not purchasing the entire collection.*Additional note: This is the first book in there series is out dated due to the fact that it was published during George Bush's 1st term in office. Hopefully Mike Venezia makes a revised edition.
