    1. I reviewed this book for Romance Reader At heart website. RRAH's THOUGHTS AND PONDERINGS: I've been so eager to read this book. WICKED SEDUCTION is a sequel to WICKED SURRENDER, and I highly recommend you read the prequel first. In order for you to understand our hero and his state of mind, his life before he gets thrown onto the ship bound for colonies, you need to know who he was and what he went through. I expected Kit's story to be good, but the story that unfolded was AMAZING! When first we [...]

    2. I adore Jade Lee's historicals-- her Asian Blaze (The Concubine) remains one of my all-time favorites-- but this was a little different than what I've come to expect from Jade Lee. The characters are just as rich and three-dimensional as ever, but the setting was pure England. There's still plenty of hot loving, an alpha-but-wounded hero (is PTSD a new trend in romance novels?), and a feisty heroine, but nada about Asia.

    3. I completely enjoyed the characters of Kit and Maddy! Rose, however, was excessively annoying! I was thoroughly engrossed, and satisfied with all but the abrupt ending with Rose talking of course Ugh. Even so, I didn't hold Rose against the rest of the book. I would have gven 4.5 stars if it were possible. Great story!

    4. I received this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for an honest review. Spoilers ahead:Overall I enjoyed the book and became very engaged with the story, so that I read well into the night to finish it in one sitting. The plot contains things that might have triggered me: lots of high drama in places, references to slavery and torture and angsty moments as the Hero's memories resurface, but I did not find they derailed the story, rather they were integrated well into the storyline and they we [...]

    5. I received this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for my honest review. After a harrowing ordeal being abducted and enslaved by pirates, Kit Frazier has returned to London after a 7-year absence to find that not only did his own brother and his wife betray him and refuse to pay for his ransom and give him up for dead, but also his beloved fiancee, about whom he has dreamed for years, has married his cousin. Not able to stay in the home of his betrayer and with only pirate booty and no real mo [...]

    6. “Wicked Seduction” by Jade LeeWhat would you do if your brother sent you away on a ship that is later captured by pirates, and then refuses to pay your ransom to set you free? Kit Frazier had to live seven long years of torture, horrific pain and nightmares at the hands of his captors. He also now lives with extreme guilt for not being able to save a young boy from dying while in captivity. Can Kitt ever heal from the painful memories of his capture? Will he ever be able to forgive his broth [...]

    7. Kit Frazier, taken by Barbary pirates, spent years of hell as a slave. Eventually he made his way back to England with Alex Morgan, another young Barbary slave. Both had to deal with physical and mental scars that would take time, patience and the care of someone special to overcome. Madeline Wilson, living with her Uncle Frank and Cousin Rose, has need of a husband but seems to be having difficulty finding one. With her selfish immature cousin to care for and an uncle that is less along with th [...]

    8. Handsome man returns from traumatic experience with handy skillz but penniless & with a damaged psyche. Empathetic humble competent woman nurses him back to psychological health while fending off a lecherous & exploitative uncle and a nitwit interfering cousin. Several sexy scenes celebrate creative, gentle lovemaking before they get around to unprotected premarital intercourse. All ends well.

    9. First of all: Rose, you are too much! lol! What a character! With that out of the way: sheesh! What a rollercoaster ride of emotions! Again, we have a broken man in the form of Kit, seven years after he had been kidnapped at sea by Barbary pirates, and treated as a slave for four years before being free. Abused in his time as a slave, and being made to commit crimes and sins because he had been commanded to, he still slipped into dark moments whenever there had been an appropriate trigger. But a c [...]

    10. 3.5 stars. An entertaining story from one of my favourite authors, however there were lots of little typos in the kindle edition which were distracting and pulled my rating down. Usually there are no errors in Jade's books Also, a brooch you wear, is not spelled broach! I liked the H/h and the romance had lots of 'steam'. I am making my way through all this author's books and I recommend reading her work.

    11. Reviewed at AsianCocoa's Secret Garden3.5 StarsWicked Seduction is a historical romance that takes place in London, England. There was plenty of action and conflict with a strong level-headed heroine and a dashing flawed hero. This book starts off with a lot of action as Kit is in the process of saving a young man from his former fate of enslavement. He has returned to the same slave ship he was tortured on to kill his former master.Kit Frazier is a former pirate slave who has bought his freedom [...]

    12. A wonderful book!! We love that Kit didn't die but was put on a boat bound for the colonies. His cousin Michael who is head of the family did this too him so he wouldn't we'd Scher. The boat is attacked by pirates almost everyone killed except Kit who is ransomed. No ransom comes so he is beaten and enslaved for the next 3 years until he finally buys his freedom. When he makes it home after 7 years his family is shocked to know he was not dead. This is where he learned Michael and his wife knew [...]

    13. As I enjoyed reading Her Wicked Surrender, the first book in the Regency Hearts Redeemed Series, I had to read His Wicked Seduction as well, obviously. This book was rather intense because the hero and the heroine are both at crosspoints in their life, Kit has just returned from captivity after having suffered as a slave for years and Maddie faces ruin and despair at the hands of.well.The characters were different enough to entice me once more but a certain scheme is detectable, which makes the s [...]

He spent the next four years fighting to regain his humanity and a veneer of civility before he decided that he was ready to return to England. 16. Kit Frazier returned to England after seven long years at sea, three of those years as a tortured slave from which he still suffers horribly with nightmares and flashbacks of his past life. Kit has bought his freedom and is just returning to London, but he fears the “savage beast” within him will never allow him to live in polite society. 17. This book was given to me by eBook Discovery in return for an honest review. This is an absolutely smashing read. Kit , our hero, has returned to England, after having spent time, as a slave, on a pirate ship. Because of his experiences he finds it hard to re-integrate into society. Maddy, our heroine, is a poor relation, living on the charity of her uncle, an earl. They meet when Kit decides to confront his cousin, Michael, the cause of his incarceration on the pirate ship. They feel an instant [...]

    18. You will love reading about Maddy and Kit. Maddy is helping take care of her uncle's home since the passing of his wife. Little does she know that he has other plans for her after the season is up. Kit over hears the tragic that is to become of Maddy's life and can't stand the way that she has being treated. After his years of slavery on a Pirate ship become taking a hold of his own life he knows how it can be to have to beholden to someone else. He wishes better things for Maddy. Rose her cousi [...]

    19. 3.5 My heart really hurt for Kit therewhat happened to him in the previous book, how he was depicted in that one and then how circumstances led him to become the shattered guy in this one is all too angsty! I liked Maddy's strong character but halfway through, the story got really abrupt. I literally turned pages to check maybe I skipped out something somewhere :( one minute Kit is having fits and is so broken that it makes you think how his journey to stability will be and next you know he'd go [...]

    20. This story delves into the serious topic of mental health following a tragic violation to a person. The response of someone not believing they are good enough for another due to the abuse they suffered is a very real consequence for some survivors. I felt for Kit and his belief that he was an animal. I loved how Maddy was able to see the real man underneath and wouldn't give up on him. There were some typos and a few missing notifications of scene changes but they did not take away from the stor [...]

    21. Unforgettable romanceTortured heroes have always been a favorite storyline for me and Kit was definitely a tortured hero not only because he had suffered torture from pirates but because of the fear of what he had become because of the things they had forced him to do. Maddie was a heroine in need of rescuing from a wicked Uncle but she was a strong woman who was kind with a heart full of love to give and I adored her. The attraction between the two was felt throughout the book. They were perfec [...]

    22. When I read "Her Wicked Surrender", I was rooting for Kit to get the girl. I was sorely disappointed with Sherr's choice in men.It is a great thing to have Kit "back from the dead," though he's no longer the innocent optimistic man he was in the first book. Life has scarred him mentally and physically. Maddy, his Angel, is a wonderful woman and it is lovely to see the pair find the happiness they deserve. And who can help but love sweet, naive Rose?Recommended for mature readers due to sexual co [...]

    23. If You’re a Sucker for a Tortured Hero, you’ll fall for Kit. And right from the start, Maddy is perfect for him—strong, steady, sensible, quick-thinking, though she has some pretty serious problems of her own. The development of the characters and the romance was steady, but the plot made a couple of abrupt jumps (Kit’s healing and the ending, especially). The emotions and the love scenes are where this book (and it’s predecessor) truly excelled. You don't have to read the previous boo [...]

    24. This story has a gritty beginning, an unflappable heroine who is unsure of herself, and a lost hero. Kit has been through hell physically and mentally, and finally arrives home to England. His homecoming is an eye opener for him and not what he had hoped for. Maddy immediately takes control of a bad situation to calm things down. As the story unfolded, I felt deeply for both Kit and Maddy. It was quite a journey and I highly recommend this book.I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery [...]

    25. Could someone please put Rose in a vault and lock the door? I don't think I've ever been as annoyed with a character as I was with her.I don't usually comment on covers, but this one is ridiculous! Talk about scantily clad, buxom (although are the girls on the cover as large as Kit says they are?), beauty. I had to hide the cover because my 7-yr-old was paying too much attention to the location of their legs - he had the head tilt going any everything.Sheesh.

    26. Damaged and barely functionable, Kit returns home to London after being a slave to Barbary pirates and finds an "angel" who can calm his savage fury. A strong-willed heroine with trouble of her own and a hero who needs a little rescuing too, makes for a compelling read that pulls at the heart-strings. Loved this book and its HEA! I received a copy of this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for my honest review.

    27. I loved this story and the romance between Kit and Maddie. Kit is suffering from what we would know as PTSD and Ms Lee handles the subject sensitively and well; it is interesting to see how the heroine deals with his episodes (particularly the one in the theatre). Highly recommended read. I received this book from eBook Discovery in exchange for an honest review.

    28. I wanted to see what happened to sweet Kit. I like the older Kit bette4r. He was too young before. Now he is a man, a broken man, but a man. Maddy is grounded. She is strong emotionally. They are perfect together. A good story.

    29. Like the premise but it was like watching a great potential show watered down for broadcast television when it deserves the no holes barred (no pun intended) HBO treatment. Liked the secondary characters. I'd read a book about them. Nevertheless it fit the bill. Happy ending and all.
