    1. Right from the very first picture, which is of an adorable Holstein Cow, you know you’re in for a treat. This Animal Bites issue seems to set out to make children and adults go “Awww” from the get-go. They succeed admirably. The Odd Couples section, in particular, made us smile. As we’ve come to expect from the Animal Bites series, the pictures are crisp and vibrant and the layout is well-done.While the mini-reviewer pretty much loved everything she saw, I wasn’t a huge fan of the sect [...]

    2. I received a paperback edition of this book from the publisher through a GoodReads giveaway and the following is my honest opinion. Parents are always looking for ways to educate their young children about the world around them, and one of these areas concern farm animals. With the myriad of books available on this subject, one can simply lose their minds in trying to find the best one; one which their child could easily understand, one which didn’t have long boring paragraphs which could lose [...]

    4. MY REVIEW:First, are you kidding me with those adorable faces of the horse and piggies!!! I cannot stop looking that them. What an amazing book cover. That is only the outside, what is inside is even more amazing! Animal Bites is a fun way to title this book, as my son pointed out, because this book provides us bites of information. I adored the fact that there is a key in the front cover as how to use the book. This allows the reader to easily find areas of interest and go directly to that spot [...]

    7. I received a free copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This is the first Animal Bites book that my family has read and it was a very enjoyable read. I set my 8 year old daughter up with the book and my 3 year old daughter cuddled in and I watched over and my big girl read to my little girl. I had to help with some of the animal's exact names, such as Holstein cow and Percheron horses. But other than that my 8 year old had no problem reading this and it held the atten [...]

    8. This book is exactly as the series says, Animal Bites. There are so many facts in this book that something is going to draw in any reader. This book describes many aspects of Farm Life. With the majority of people living in cities, this is a great way for kids to learn about farm animals, life on the farm, working farms, showing animals at fairs, petting zoos etcetera. It talks about habitats, adaptations, family life and more. The photos in this book are amazing. They are so close you feel like [...]

    9. Animal Planet Farm Animals provides young readers with a chance to explore the world of domesticated animals. Of course you’ll find the familiar horses, cows, chickens, goats, and sheep one would expect to find on a farm. But the book ranges wider to offer youngsters a look at Swiss sheep, Texas Longhorn Cattle, alpacas, and honey bees as well some of the wild denizens of such as spiders, swallows and owls. Additional topics include the workers familiar on the farm from veterinarians to border [...]

    10. My kids adore this series of Animal Bites books from Animal Planet. Farm Animals is no exception to this adoration. Big, beautiful pictures of all their favorite animals sit alongside fact bubbles and interesting snippets of information. What I like about this particular book is that most of these animals can be found easily. Horses, cows, and chickens can be seen frequently on a drive through the countryside. It's a fun book to read and get to know these common animals a little better. Kids can [...]

    11. I can't believe I'm giving a five star review to a non-fiction book about farm animalsbut I really, REALLY loved this one! The photographs are gorgeous (and the picture of the chicken at the end made me laugh out loud), with a plethora of great facts, figures, and random things to know about a variety of farm animals. The little yes/no boxes were great (Selfie-Worthy? Bestie-Worthy? Pet-Worthy?) and made me laugh on several occasions. Basically, I spent the entire time with this book smiling and [...]

    13. Beautiful colorful pictures. Very educational. This would have been a great book to have if my grandparents were still with us. They had a farm and I remember visiting there as a child. My daughter, Ashleigh, loves horses. The section, "Horses on the farm", Ashleigh would love. The one thing I had no idea about is that rabbits compete in jumping hopping contests. Another thing I did not know is that ducklings do not fly until they are 8 weeks old.Great farm activities at the end of the book!☆ [...]

    15. This is an animal book done right. Information is done in “Animal Bites”, small tid bits just perfect for kids with wandering minds. That being said the graphics and page layouts are intriguing and make someone want to see the next page. Since this is about farms we look at farm animals and their various varieties. A favorite thing is the “worthy” sections. Are they Selfie Worthy? Besty Worthy? Very well done Animal Planet.

    16. This is the first in the series of Animal Planet books I have read with my nephew. He enjoyed this book. There are a lot of pictures, which he really enjoyed.
