    1. This review can also be found at Carole's Random Life in Books. This was a fun book. I am kind of partial to time travel romances. I guess I like the idea of imagining what it would be like to suddenly be thrust into an entirely unknown situation and trying to figure out what to do. I was really in the mood to read a time travel romance so I decided to pick up this book and I am glad that I did. This is the third book in the Mists of Fate series and it read just fine as a stand alone even though I [...]

    2. Review For: 'Once Upon a Summer Night ' by Nancy Scanlon 'Once Upon a Summer Night ' by Nancy Scanlon is book Three in the "Mists of Fate" series. This is the story of Colin O'Rourke and Eleanor Carberry. This can easily be a standalone book. Colin is owner of a American Matchmaking company. But more than that he is fated time traveling protectors for his family line. Colin also knows there is a mate out there for him but he has yet to meet her. When a story is printed that his Matchmaking compa [...]

    3. This review was originally posted on Addicted To Romance SummaryColin O'Rourke is one of the fated time traveling protectors, he was born to be one and will die as a protector. Colin has always known that there is only one woman fated to be his true mate. But has mixed feelings knowing the kind of life he has to live and that she would have to live as well. But he also understands the dangers of denying or refusing what is meant to be. Colin is also running a high end matchmaking business. But w [...]

    4. This still is NOT Reilly's story!!! Ms. Scanlon, what are you waiting for??? ;)This is Colin's story and is actually a PG-7 one. LOLYou'll not believe me, but there's just 2 kisses!!! O_OBeside the lack of hot action, this is actually a very nice book about time travel. :)The action in this book is mostly in present time and revolves around Colin's matchmaking enterprise Celtic Connection where the heroine is (almost) forced by her aunt to find the perfect man. At the same time Colin is blackmai [...]

    5. a wonderful mix of staid modernism and fanciful notionsI would like to thank Nancy Scanlon, Diversion Books, and NetGalley for allowing me to read an ARC in exchange for an honest review.Colin O’Rourke aims to expand his matchmaking business to the UK, but Miss Winifred Emsworth, a popular gossip columnist, is not a fan. She holds a lot of sway with the public, and Colin needs her endorsement to be successful. He asks what he can do to convince her his company is as great as he purports—and [...]

    6. Once Upon a Summer Night by Nancy ScanlonMists of Fate #3Colin O’Rourke is a time traveler. He is also wants to expand his matchmaking business to Europe. With a gossip journalist blackmailing him with bad press if he does not find her niece the “perfect match” he sets out to do just that only to find that perhaps HE is the match to be found. With his job as a family protector weighing heavy on his shoulders he finds himself in conflict trying to figure out whether or not to follow his hea [...]

    7. This could have been a much better book with a different narrator. Every word she read was way to “bubbly.” It didn’t matter how serious the subject was the narrator was happy and bubbly. And her men’s voices were terrible, since they sounded just like women. It was a decent storyline and mostly I enjoyed it. Even though the time travel didn’t happen until about 60%, so that was somewhat of a bummer. Colin was a time traveling “protector” and Ellie and Gwen stumbled on the path in t [...]

    8. Disappointed about the ending. Too abrupt as if the author was near her deadline and decided to just come up with a last minute ending idea. No epilogue to make up for it. Hate how indecisive the hero is. He rejects the heroine multiple times due to some things that are out of his control and then after a pep talk fr his mom ( which was not that great imo), he decided that he can be with the heroine. Hello, what happened to all the various reasons you cannot be together in the first place? I did [...]

    9. Love, againNancy Scanlon did it again. She made me fall in love with such wonderful people. Mists of Fate is an enjoyable page turning delight. All three books are well written and so easy to read; hard to put down. Thanks Nancy, can't wait for your next book.

    10. It took forever for Colin to make the right decision but worth it! Fun series to read --looking forward to another.

    11. A gripping story of two people who find true love. She is a book store owner in London, he is a business owner in Boston. Question is, where are they going to live?

    12. From cosmopolitan London to 15th Century Ireland, Once Upon a Summer Night: Mists of Fate, will take you on an unforgettable journey. With a beautiful, compelling, storyline, this sweet romance has a lot going for it.I adored the premise of the story — Colin O’Rourke is a time-travelling Guardian of the O'Rourke tribe as well as a successful businessman. When he isn't travelling through time to ensure the safety of his clan, he is helping others find their soul mates with his match-making com [...]

    13. A time-traveling romance novel that's part of the Mists of Fate Series (this one is Book 3). This work can easily be read as a stand-alone book. I have not read the other novels in the series, but after reading this one, I plan to go back and read them. A family of hunky Irish time-travelers who also happens to own a matchmaking business. The MCs are captivating in a quiet way, the supporting characters are heartwarming, the settings are well-designed, and the plot is adorable and fun. The story [...]

    14. I received this book in exchange for an honest review. I loved reading about Colin and Eleanor who feel a connection from the beginning but can't reveal their feelings right away due to meddling family, work and the fact that Colin is a Guardian who can time travel to save the family line whenever it is in danger.Eleanor is mostly content with owning a bookstore, reading anything she can get her hands on and spending time with her aunt Winifred Emsworth who is a famous journalist who raised her [...]

    15. This was a sweet, thrilling time travel romance, with realistic, engaging characters, and a creativity that sparks the reader's imagination. I had no trouble picturing each scene in the story, and when the characters went back in time, I felt like I was really there beside them. It was excellent storytelling and an exciting new take on the time travel subgenre.Colin O'Rourke, time traveler and owner of the Celtic Connections matchmaking service, is between a rock and a hard place.
