    1. This is a cute story, and I enjoyed reading it over the Labor Day weekend. While the story isn't overly deep and is a bit predictable, I enjoyed watching the two main characters grow and learn to trust the Lord for their future. If you're looking for a quick read with a bit of romance, this just might be the book for you! [3 stars]

    2. Yes, I've been reading a lot of fluff lately. And sadly, I feel compelled to comment on the fluff. That's the tragedy of getting a degree in English literature, it is practically obligatory to analyze everything you read, even fluff.Picket Fence Pursuit is a love story of two sincere Christian young adults. The message of trusting that God will provide is the dominant theme in this book. I don't have a problem with the message, but I think at times, the author went a little out of bounds. Her mai [...]

    3. I must admit that I went back and forth trying to decide what to rate this book. I believe the writing was solid and it was a sweet story, however, these characters just drove me crazy! Kylie is a woman who grew up poor and became determined that she would go to college, get a high paying job and marry a man with a good, secure job as well. She had everything planned out and looked only to herself to provide the security she wanted. She claimed to be relying on God, but wasn't really.Ryan is a m [...]

    4. Loved this story! Although, at times it was a little painful as I can totally empathize with Kylie. I felt the same way she does, and I also pursued my life's goal of education with an eye singly towards it. Her story mirrors mine is so many ways, it was quite scary, but at the same time it was refreshing to be reminded that God helped me the same was He was guiding Kylie. Totally enjoyable, engaging, clean read! Wonderful!

    5. This contemporary, realistic fiction, Christian romance is about a young woman who must learn to trust God, give Him control of her life and future, and not be so judgmental. Of course, along the way she finds Mr. Right, who she was absolutely convinced was Mr. Wrong until God works on her heart--and gives her exactly what she dreamed about.

    6. This book is deliciously frustrating! I was ready to take their headsand start knoking But this is what made it special Lovely fun touching story that i recommend to all readers

    7. I enjoyed reading this story of someone who wants to control their own life. Not until they let go of the control, and give it to God, will it work out the way it is meant to.

    8. This is a really sweet story, definitely worth reading. It's also one of my first stories, so there are a few booboos here and there. The characters and theme are still endearing.

    9. Pretty much a typical romance - okay but easy to figure out the end. Ending made me smile as to how Ryan gave her everything that she had dreamed of wanting when she got married.
