    2. This was the fourth in the series and leads up to planning a wedding for Jack and Leanne. Jack has surprises for Leanne that don't always get received the way he expects. But is he being a bit presumptious and is Leanne worried about losing her identity? She has a few problems at work and her panic attacks have returned. Will everything work out for them both? You already know all the characters well if you've read the previous books and it's like picking up with old friends. But you'd be able to [...]

    3. 4.5 StarsLauren and Jack are back, and this time they should be getting married, otherwise the title of this book would be very misleading! This is a very funny continuation of their story, in the last 3 months leading up to the wedding. Jack is clearly head over heels in love with Lauren, but Lauren seems to be having all sorts of thoughts. Add in problems at work, and some panic attacks, its surprising to think they will ever have time to plan a wedding and get married. Despite Lauren being a [...]

    4. Rating 4.5/5With all the ingredients to make a great romantic read!. . . . This is the fourth book in the ‘How to Bake the Perfect….’ series. It started with Pecan Pie, then Christmas Cake followed by Apple Pie and now Wedding Cake. The romance between Lauren Hauser and Jack Walker is followed through the books at different festive seasons and culminates in this one, so it is important to read them in the correct order!Their romance has be filled with plenty of angst and turmoil but this t [...]

    5. I did not read the previous books in this series. With that being said I felt as though I understood the story. The main characters Lauren and Jack are planning for their wedding, I am assuming the previous books covered how they got here. But I found this book to have enough emotional tug that it kept me engrossed. Lauren and Jack endured so many things from wedding planning jitters, to a surprise event occurring with a college, and making future plans about home and family. I found myself grip [...]

    6. It’s a joy to meet Lauren again. In this installment of Home for Holidays, she is shopping for a wedding dress and getting ready for her upcoming wedding. A few mishaps happen on her way, but nothing can stop Lauren.I enjoy Gina Henning’s humor. It’s warm and light-hearted. I laughed out loud when Lauren says that all you need is shelter, love, and wine and she was sure Shakespeare must have said something about that, and if not, he should have.I like Lauren as a character, too. She is fun [...]
