    1. I'm rating this as four and a half stars provided the reader has read the earlier book, Alien in the Garden. Otherwise you could be confused for a good part of the book. Alex, a boy in England, has previously met an interplanetary police officer and is easily persuaded by his contact to go to Europe with his family as a cover; they get an all expenses paid trip to Disneyland Paris, though we don't see the resort in this tale. Again, taking Alex out of his home and school is a way to limit the nu [...]

Review: This had a pretty weak premise. Alie [...]

    3. Featured on All Our Worlds! This was a very enjoyable middle grade science fiction adventure, full of likable heroes and dastardly villains, dramatic fights, and a few good lessons as well.Alex is an ordinary English boy, but his friend Shakespeare is far from ordinary. He's a shapeshifting alien undercover cop, and he needs Alex and his family's help to catch a gang of other aliens who want to trade drugs for the weapons they can't get anywhere but Earth. So begins a vacation to France filled wi [...]

    4. For more YA book reviews, please visit: cabookle.tumblr***I received this book through NetGalley for reviewing purposes; the following is my HONEST opinion of the book as I was in no way obligated to give a positive review. Thank you NetGalley and Bliss Group Books for letting me read this book in advance!***(Grade = Incomplete)I was given a galley of this book because it was another middle grade series that the publisher thought I might like. When I read the summary, at first I agreed with them [...]

    5. This eBook was provided by the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review Aliens On Holiday is Gillian Bradshaw’s second novel for children involving extraterrestrial beings. Following on from the first book Alien in the Garden, Alex Marsh is reunited with his celestial friend, Shakespeare. It has been two years since fourteen-year-old Alex found himself involved with aliens, yet he is still glad to see Shakespeare and is determined to help him out with whatever his purpose on pl [...]

    6. I liked it better than the first one, but it's still a book in need of a heart. Like The Alien in the Garden the plotline isn't very involving or inventive. The book just doesn't flow, and one thing happening after another never really goes anywhere. The lead is essentially useless, as he has to be given that he's a fourteen-year-old on the sidelines of an alien sting operation. But unlike the first book, he has no real reason to be involved. On the plus side, at least this time they managed to [...]

    7. This book is action packed and full of adventure. Middle grade students who are interested in aliens will love this book. It deals with many important issues, but is not preachy.Alex has just finished school for the summer. He meets up with his friend Shakespeare (Tiva), who is a shapeshifting alien undercover cop who is borrowing Alex's body from two years ago. He needs Alex and his family to help catch a gang of evil aliens, the Kiaians, who want to trade drugs for weapons that are only availa [...]

    8. This is a very creative story that powers up your imagination. A very enjoyable tale of friendship and courage.Tiva is a shapeshifting alien that is on an undercover mission on Earth trying to steal information from a ring of arm and drug smuglers, both alien and human. When his cover is blown, Tiva decides to visit his friend Alex, a fourteen year old, and his family which he previous met two years before. Alex has just finished his school year and has no plans for the summer; when Tiva’s bos [...]

    9. I received a copy of this e-book in return for my honest review. All opinions are my own. This book is a young reader chapter book, in my opinion I would say 5th to 7th grade levels. I found it to be quite a fun story. There must be a first part of this story, because in Aliens on Holiday this is the alien's second time seeing Alex. I don't want to go into details and ruin the story but they have quite the adventure trying to take down a bad group of aliens who are conspiring with criminals here [...]

This book reminds me that not everyone is bad and not everyone is good. My favorite characters are all of them because they all have an important role to play throughout the book. My favorite parts are when the characters make jokes or talk about Dancers because it makes me start crying while laug [...]

    11. These are really cute books. My son loves Tiva the alien(Shakespeare) and Alex. They are exciting, easy for both teens and young tweens to understand as well as enjoy. I find the action believable and easy to picture in my head. My daughter liked the fact the story is not too scary, but has enough suspense to keep the reader enticed. Tiva and her many shifts are a blast keeping us on our seats to see just what she plans on changing into. Nicely done.
