    1. I picked this up free from Kelly, and it is hardly worth writing about. The names are bizarre and plot twists are rather predictable. The characters are often rather shallow and stereotypical. For some reason, when male authors write women lead characters, at least in the mystery genre, the women seem to be wounded, hard, shallow, and/or promiscuous. Bishop is no exception, his lead detective can't help falling into bed (well in this case a sandbox) with a hot suspect who may or may not be her h [...]
