    1. I was given this book when I was about two, and I have loved it ever since. My copy is ancient and missing many of its pages, including the title page, so I had to do some poking around to find the title online, but this is it and I've read it over and over again for the last twenty-seven years. There are three friendly mountains, who are lonely, and when they receive a catalog in the mail, they start ordering things. Animals first (bears, giraffes, and I don't remember what the third one gets; [...]

    2. If you have a home shopping network fanaticor back in the day, the Mail order catalog fanaticen this book will give you a chuckle. I read it to a co-worker who is crazy for QVC and she giggled the whole way! Just look through the Catalog and you get what you need! Giraffe, bears, Turtle, refrigerators and hats I thought it was fun, written in 1981 so a tad outdatedw it would be "The mountains went to the internet and ordered 1342 Giraffe.!

    3. I met Jasper Tomkins at a Young Author's Conference when I was in elementary school. I think his signature is about the only "celebrity" autograph I own.

    4. Cute fun read about mountains who realize they didn't think through their decision to purchase something special and how they try to fix it.
