    1. Mark. Mark, Mark, Mark. You are my precious son. He has gone through SO much and I just want him to have a happy ending SO badly. But knowing there are 3 more books in the series, I'm reserving my overall judgement about The Lord Jester's Legacy until I've read the Poisoned Past series. That being said, I feel like TLJL series was fantastic. I was blown out of the water by how unique and good it was. I won't give spoilers, but I will say that this will go down as one of my favorite series ever!

I'll have to take off one star because through the middle there was a lot more adventuring-through-wilderness and military action than I anticipated or wanted, but I love this series to bits, so.And I'll have to say the whole situation with the main character's love interests was handled rather uniquely, I don't think I've seen this kind of thing in fiction before. Strangely it works out well.On to The Poisoned Past then. 8D

    3. Another great book in the series. As with the other it's full of great twists and characters and you are never sure of who is going to be around in the end. Perhaps that is one of its joys. It is like riding a roller coaster at times and hard to follow especially when he is having one of his internal dialogues and or his sesures.
