    1. What the book consists of:55% characters trying to be funny35 % romance10% ghost talk and actual ghost investigationWould have read the next book if this is what I got:55% ghost investigation35% characters trying to be funny10% romance

    2. So, I enjoyed this book because it is a very light easy listen. The characters are slightly annoying, but I still liked them and was invested in their story. The mystery was pretty predictable, and the ending was a little drawn out, but the story was still enjoyable. I didn’t buy the romance side of the story, but I will have to see how well the author handles them in the next book. The characters have an easy chemistry with each other and I really enjoyed feeling like Jared – a newcomer who [...]

    3. Reviewed by Whitney@Shooting Stars ReviewsHarper can see ghosts. Most people don't believe her, but her job is to help ghosts cross over, and there are more out there than you would think. When a new cop comes to town, and a murder is taken place on his first day. He thinks Harlow is a fake, and taking advantage of people, but that doesn't stop him from being attracted to her. She feels the same, but knows he doesn't believe her, so she's unsure where there relationship can go. This book was oka [...]

    4. Good idea, but it needs work.Harper Harlow can see ghosts. She's always been able to see them. by miraculously not getting thrown into psyche wards or ostracized by her small town community, Harper and her bestie, Zander, have a ghost hunting business. Her special sight leads her to a crime scene where new Detective, or police officer, Jared Monroe is on his first case. Here' what I liked: the idea behind the story. The first chapter was fun, and the idea of a dream catcher being a trap to spirit [...]

    5. The "Perfect Package"!!!Lily Harper Hart's newest series is wickedly entertaining! It is chock full of oddball characters. There's Zander, Harper's best friend soul mate/business partner, who is openly gay, buff, & absolutely hysterical (I want him as my best friend!). Then there's her 2 other partners, Molly & Eric, Zander's uncle Detective Mel & his new partner Jared (who btw is every woman's, & if you believe Zander - every gay man's dream). Harlow's parents had me laughing ti [...]

    6. I really love the characters in all of the books I have read by her so far. My biggest complaint is that sometimes her dialogue between the characters is too juvenile. I am all for playful banter and sarcasm, but some of her scenes are not always up to par. I hope as her books go on this will get better because I really like the characters she has created and look forward to more of their adventures.

    7. I was disappointed. It felt like a remake. It was just way too similar to another series that I read and actually enjoy. The writing was very juvenile. Authors should know how to use proper grammar. Using the wrong your/you're really annoys me.

    8. I barely made it through this book. It's terribly written, the dialog is juvenile, the characters are unlikable, the killer was obvious as soon as he was introduced. It wasn't worth the 99 cents I paid for it.

    9. I really like this one. It reminds me a lot, of her other series Wicked with Ivy. Both have someone who isn't exactly a witch, yet, and a cop that they are involved with, who has a partner. Both see ghosts. Both solve cases. Both have involved families. But there is a difference in the fact that Ivy is not comfortable with her 'witchiness' yet, and Harper is very comfortable with hers, even if she doesn't know all that she can do yet. Also, Harper and her man got involved pretty much from the sta [...]

    10. I almost stopped reading this book after the first chapter. It was pretty ghost buster-ish. I kept with it (I was reading while on my stationary bike and didn't want to stop to find another book). The book did get better, but the dialogue was a bit juvenile. I figured out the killer early on, which is kind of annoying. However, it was a light, easy, fun read. I may even read the next book in the series just to find out what happens between Harper and Jared, although I can probably guess ;)

    11. Great Romantic comedy!I am completely in love with Jared and Zander!! Love this story so full of romance, comedy, mystery and a freaking twist towards the end that I did not see coming at all. I recommend it hands down.

    12. Love this book. Zanny fun characters, great plot. Lots of laugh out loud scenes. First time I have read a book with a gay person in it but this was clean and the two friends male and female had been friends since childhood. You will love it. Cozy mystery.

    13. Harper sees and talks to ghosts. one of them is a recent murder victim. problem is the sheriff doesn't believe Harper can talk to the victim. and they're attracted to each other.

    14. A fast reading book with likable characters, a strong component is the banter between friends, the light mystery and romance are engaging, but not deep.

    15. Synopsis:Harper Harlow lives in a world of ghosts. She sees them. She talks to them. She investigates them. She sends them on their merry way. She’s not embarrassed by her abilities, and she’s not afraid to be who she is. She’s also not looking for a relationship. Enter Jared Monroe, a smooth-talking police detective who sees things in black and white and ignores any shades of gray. He doesn’t believe in ghosts, and while he’s intrigued by the feisty blonde ghost detective, he’s not [...]

    16. Harper is able to see ghosts, ever since she was 8 years old (although no one believed her, of course.) She now runs a ghost busting business, basically. Zander is one of her employees (he's gay), and Molly is another worker there. Jared is a new cop in the area and he and Harper end up working together to find out who killed Annie, who is now a ghost.Jared has a hard time believing what Harper is saying she can do. Eventually they work together well and your typical romance starts up. The quest [...]

    17. what a hoot Harper sees and talks with ghosts; her best friend is Zander whom she has know since kindergarten. and they have been as thick as thieves since then - what better idea could they have then to open a business that finds ghosts and helps them to move over to the other side. The book is funny , the banter between the Zander and Harper is perfect and then the new sheriff in town! Jared just the right blend. Highly recommend for a summer read and or just in the need for a laugh.

    18. Kind of Silly, but FunMerrill at the sexual innuendo, but the romance was actually central to the plot.To be fair,I had just read a serious book on social engineering and racism,so I was very sober-minded when I picked this book for a change of pace.I will probably read another one by this author. She is quite prolific and has a number of series besides the Harper Harlow stories.Love that name,by the way .Her bff,Zander, kept making me laugh out loud.

    19. What a nice cozy mystery! and a Free Kindle book.I read the story in one sitting, it was that good. I wish the author was available at my library. If you love a cute cozy, fun characters and a quick read, you should read this series.

    20. A unique rendering of ghostbustering. The best thing about this book is the banter. Harper and Zander are brilliant together. Their repartee is some of the best ever written. Add into that mix ghosts, murder, mayhem and a very sexy cop and the flavour only improves.

    21. Loved it! Totally enjoy reading stories involving the paranormalTotally enjoy reading stories involving the paranormal. Characters were well developed and believable. Particularly loved that her best friend is gay as mine is too
