    1. A charming little book about a young couple that have lived a loving and full filling life together. Their heart break and joys, all revealed by keepsakes in the bottom drawer of an old chest, by a new young modern couple who come to look at the house with a view to buying.Poignant and heart warming.

    2. The contents of the drawer of an old dresser, in a tumbledown cottage, slowly reveal the lives of the couple who lived there many years earlier. It follows them through happiness and heartache, including separation with the intervention of WW2. Although only a short story, it holds all the ingredients for an extended novel.
