    1. Janie is desperately looking for an apartment since she has already spent a month on the sofa bed in her recently married friends one bedroom apartment, where the walls are painfully thin. Finally finding and ad for an apartment that would suit her, she is nervous when she is meets Falquen, the tall and intimidating goth who she would be sharing it with. Janie is awkward and clumsy and a sweet normal young woman and Falquen knows she won't fit in at all with his world. He likes his world dark an [...]

    2. Okay, NOT a Janie fan. Way too needy and fearful for me, my 2 year old is more self sufficient and capable than she is at times. But then if she hadn't been so useless I probably wouldn't have enjoyed the book so much. Honestly, everything she does seems to end in some sort of disaster and I have to say it made for some laughs along the way. Poor Falquen, he's a saint for putting up with her in the beginning, I'd have thrown her out after an hour. Personally I thought Gray a more interesting cha [...]

    3. Well worth it!Ok I have to confess, I am about as far from Goth as I can get. But I love rock stars. I am so freaking glad I bought this book! Falquen has advertised a room for rent in a half hearted attempt to find a roommate. Falquen is a bassist in a band, an artist who paints skulls and loves the dark. He also owns the art supply store below his apartment. Janie is an art school grad who is afraid of the dark, paints kitten and flowers with water color and is desperate to move out of her fri [...]

    4. I loved both of the main characters in this book. They made for quite a unique, interesting story. Janie's quirks are hilarious. She's not gothic, at all. Falquen, on the other hand, is tall, dark, and handsomely gothic. This is a cute story of how opposites attract. These two do not have much in common, besides art, but yet they are attracted one another. I can't wait to read the other stories in this series and get to know the other characters better.

    5. This was a very sweet story about love, the blossoming love of a man and woman, the love of true friends, and the love amongst brothers. The story is extremely good, lovable characters, and very good flow. I was so pleasantly surprised by this book. There are steamy love scenes, humor, and charm. This had a great story within about forgiveness of others, and yourself. I highly recommend it!

    6. I loved this. Great characters with very real reactions to each other. The right ratio of sweet and romantic and sexy and conflicted. As I reached the end of each chapter, I just wanted to keep reading. I'll definitely be reading more by this author.

    7. Happy New Year! I've been clearly celebrating with all the cute goths :) Love these!! yum yum yummy!! I think my fav part about this series is that they're feelings first, and then everything falls in place after. *sigh* so romantic!!

    8. Falquen's Nest was a wonderful, fast paced love story between a dark and brooding young man, and a naive aspiring artist. Falquen surprised me really. He didn't appeal to me in the beginning because I thought he was mean, but as I continued to read he grew on me. I learned to appreciate him for who he was and how he treated Janie. He turned into a real sweetheart.
