    1. A well-paced, detailed detective story that deals well with mental illness and personal instability. The hero, Houston P.I. Eva Baum, combines her inexperience with a shaky moral compass to create havoc at every turn, yet still remains likeable. The strength of the book lies in its intricate plotting and believable, interesting supporting characters.

    2. A great mystery - intriguing characters brought vividly to life, and a well-crafted story. I'm looking forward to the next book in this series, and anything new by these authors.

    3. Eva Baum is an interesting character that can be developed more fully in different directions with each adventure.

    4. Absorbing and realistic story revolving around the homeless in Houston. It kept my interest throughout and I highly recommend this book.

    5. I can't rate my own book. I'm looking forward to reading what you think. Actually, I just joined the sight and was trying to figure out how to say I was an author and ended up here
