    1. May contain some spoilersConsumed is the #3.5 novella in Cari Quinn/Taryn Elliott’s LOST IN OBLIVION Series and it continues Simon Kagan and Margo Reece’s story. It picks up just after the events at the end in Destroyed, where Simon had collapse on stage during a concert. This book focuses totally on Simon and Margo and how they go forward in their relationship.Simon is suddenly faced with having to deal with changes in his life and in his career. To consider what his vocal injury will affec [...]

    2. Hot, hot, HOT! This is a sweet – did I mention scorchingly hot? – story with touching undertones about introspection, learning to take the good with the bad and discovering love.“The soft look in her eyes was disarming and made his gut cramp. Was that what love looked like?”Possibly losing your livelihood is an alarming thought, especially if it’s your own fault. Doing it spectacularly in front of your band mates and fans is even worse. And now Oblivion’s front man, Simon Kagan, is l [...]

    3. 4 to 4.5★“The liquid heat rushing around his fingers and down her inner thighs left her sagging against the wall.Destroyed her.Consumed her.Rebuilt her.”After Destroyed, I was so excited in reading this. This took off after the incident that Simon pulled off on their concert in The Greek and somehow is the peak of Oblivion’s career and will decide of what will happen to them based on Simon’s decision and outlook in life. And also, if there will be something more than fucking between hi [...]

    4. Originally posted on the The Book NymphoThe last book had an explosive and scary ending. It also had drawn me to the seductive Simon Kagan, a talented manwhore who is now a one-woman man. He and Margo Reece had formed a somewhat tenuous relationship but now they're forced to hang on to each other. Both of their lives now seem to hang in the balance. One of the things I loved about this story was the introspective Simon. In the past, he was the carefree one who took his voice for granted. Now, wi [...]

    5. I won an advanced copy of "Consumed." It was a quick and easy read. The Lost In Oblivion series is hot, sexy, emotional, sensual, romantic and did I say hot! Each story can stand alone but I highly recommend the series! "This Simon wasn’t looking for sex and a good time. This one could destroy her.” When Simon dropped the “L-bomb” in “Twisted,” it sent both Simon and the reserved Violin Girl into a tailspin. Margo’s determined to help Simon while still trying to figure out where sh [...]

    6. Consumed picks up where Destroyed left off. I really don't want to give too much away because it'll spoil Destroyed if I talk about this one. So, things you need to know:Simon is in love with Margot. Which we knew in the beginning, but it takes him a long time to figure it out. Margot is in love with Simon. Obvs. He brings out a side of her she didn't know existed.Simon and Margot have some seriously hot as fuck sex. Hot. All over the place. Whenever they want. They chemistry they share on stage [...]

    7. The pain of the pleasuresSimon (aka Super Slut), is my favorite male band member. I agree with Margo's description, "He was sweet and funny, inappropriate ninety percent of the time." And that's exactly what I love about him. So, of course when that tragic event occurred during the last Oblivion concert my heart broke for him. He's not the same Simon nowhe's even more damaged. He's right that "The past didn't define him. It was just a part of him." But now, it's the present that's threatening hi [...]

    8. 4.25 starsABOUT THE BOOK: Release Date August 4, 2015Is it better to burn out or fade away… Oblivion lead singer Simon Kagan is used to being in the spotlight for his model good looks and his voice, not because of the epic ending to Oblivion’s last show on their home turf in California. That unforgettable night rocked Oblivion in more ways than one, and now the journey back seems almost impossible. The only bright spot is Margo. Margo, the one woman he’d been sure would never be more than [...]

Visit My Website | Like Me on FacebookRating: 5 out of 5 StarsPOV: His & Hers / 1st personNaughty Factor: 4 out of 5NOTE: Consumed is part 2 of Simon and Margo's story, as well as part of the Lost in Oblivion series that must be read in order. Reading order provided below. Consumed picks up, immediately, where Destroyed left off. Everyone is worried for Simon, his voice and what will happen to the rest of their tour. When they're informed of the extent of Simon's injury, it's a worry fest [...]

    10. 4.25 "Be Careful what you wish for" StarsLet me start by saying I love this series and I wish I could personally hang with all the members of Oblivion. I also need to say that if you haven't read the other books in the seriesThis is the second half of Simon and Margo's book. I complained about not getting enough of Simon and Margo as a couple during that story and let me say, there is no shortage of them as a couple in this story. It literally consumes the first 80 percent of the book and while [...]

    11. STOP! if you have not yet read " Deystroyed" some spoilers ahead. In Deystroyed you discover that Simon Kagan the lead singer is Deystroyed in more way than one, his one night stand life is over, the only women he wants is Margo; his " violin girl" , such a loss to all the Simon fan girls. However by the end of the book you find out that , this new one women man, and natural singer has ignored the warning signs of vocal chord issues and it leads to catastrophic issues for him and in turn for Obli [...]

    12. This was a nice conclusion to the first half of Simon and Margo's story. I'm a little torn about whether this really should have been two stories. On the one hand, cut a lot of the sex (and there's a LOT that could be cut), and it probably could have been one story. On the other hand, maybe we needed the break in the middle to truly appreciate how different Simon was when he wasn't "performing" or "always on". It gave Simon an opportunity to really show Margo how he felt, as opposed to telling h [...]

    14. This is a fantastic continuation of Simon and Margo's story. It picks up right at the end of Destroyed and tells us what happens to Simon. I loved the fact that the book was so centered on Simon and Margo. The fact that Simon couldn't talk for so long added another layer to the story. I can't see what happens next for them!

    15. Beyond consumedSo after that last cliffhanger we now enter the world of Simon hold on tight cuz this is one bumpy road with many many ups and downs and who will be by his side and who will get pushed aside.Simon was on a downward spiral and now he has to learn deal with everyone and pressures of what all happened. Do his Violin Girl sand by his side or his band and what will happen in the end,,, ,yup read and find out you won't be sorry

    16. Sweet, sexy, satisfying, heartbreaking in some parts but absolutely beautiful. I think Simon and Margo are definitely my favourite couple in the series.

    17. This review was originally posted on Delighted ReaderConsumed picks up right where Destroyed ended. Now, I can't review this book without some spoilers to Destroyed. So if you haven't read Destroyed and don't want to be spoiled, you have been warned.Warning!Warning!Warning!Warning!Warning!Ok, now that that it over.Simon is in the hospital. All those months of ignoring the tickle in his throat and abusing his vocal cords has led to him damaging them. Not knowing what the future holds, the band en [...]

    18. Slick's review posted at Guilty Pleasures Book Reviews4.5 stars**Reviewer's note: This isn't a book you can pick up and read if you haven't at the very least read Destroyed. Lost In Oblivion is an ongoing series and while each book ends with a HFN ending (with the exception of Destroyed) the characters are present in each book and the story of this bands rise from obscurity to chart topping continues through each book. I know many of you'll are probably sick of me singing the praises of this wri [...]

    20. Consumed & Destroyed by Cari Quinn & Taryn Elliott One of the things I was using as "bait" for myself to catch up on reviews was to be able to catch up on the Oblivion boys. I love this series and all the boys in the band so much. I could not wait to get to Simon's story. I've always felt like he was misunderstood. And I was so right.Destroyed is amazing. There's a tingle of suspicion that something isn't right and then BAM! The bottom falls out and you're left scrambling to click Consum [...]

    21. STARS: 4POV: 3rd PersonSERIES: YESCH: YesSimon overworked his vocal chords and now he has to get away to heal. Tension is high in the group and everyone is having a hard time with these latest occurrences. But everyone is worried about Simon’s health. That’s what they are concerned about and he just can’t see it.Simon is angry, frustrated, and feeling guilty over his predicament. He can’t believe “his life is over” now that he’s on strict instructions to avoid making any type of no [...]

    22. Review for ConsumedThe reality was that Simon had collapsed on stage and there was blood… he was rushed off the stage and taken to the hospital, no one knew for sure what the hell was going on. What happened, was he ok, what was going to happen next ?? No answers yet, but the wait was interminable. Then, Simon was thrashing about and fighting to free himself, from what, he had no idea. He was in a panic , but he was being restrained. And then, she was there…Margo. His world started to right [...]

    23. One of my favorite rockstar romance series. This is the follow up to Destroyed. We were left with a cliffhanger in Destroyed. Simon Kagen, lead singer for the band Oblivion, had been fighting throat problems, and finally collapsed on stage in a pool of blood. After surgery to remove nodes on his vocal chords, Simon is sure his career is over, and he is concerned about how this will affect the other members of the band. He and Margo, the part time violinist for their band (Simons Violin Girl) hea [...]

    24. Consumed is the sixth book in the Lost in Oblivion series and it is a book and not a novella. And like its 0.5 predecessors it concentrates on the romantic developments between our main H/h. As stated before, the love stories in the series can probably stand alone but its best that the previous book be read before especially with Consumed to get the whole picture.Consumed starts off where Destroyed ended (and that was a big cliffhanger). Here Margo and Simon are spending time alone, away from al [...]

    25. Completely, Utterly ConsumedThe LiO books certainly live up to their titles. Simon and the readers were all but Destroyed by the events of the cliffhanger in the last book. And I was certainly Consumed by this one, where we learn if Simon will ever sing again and the Lost In Oblivion band continue their climb to stardom or fade away into obscurity. There was just enough time between stories to imagine how Simon would overcome his injury. As usual, I was totally off base but blissfully surprised a [...]

    26. This book picks up right where Destroyed left off. Simon needed throat surgery and was told not to sing, speak, humm or make any noises for two weeks so Margo takes Simon to her family home on St. John Island to recoup. They do some touristy stuff but since Simon can't speak his body does most of his talking. Lots and Lots of sex, on the beach, in town, etc. It seems like they enjoy sex outdoors most of the time ;)Simon and Margo take this time to build their relationship to something that they [...]

    27. Consumed: Heart, body and soul!Where Destroyed left us with unanswered questions, Consumed answered them.Faced with the realization he may never sing again if he doesn’t follow the doctor's strict orders, Simon needs to get away. But where? Everywhere he goes including the house he shares with his bandmates, there are questions. Questions he couldn’t or wouldn’t answer. Enter Margo. She has just the place, and after a little planning and some help from Lila, she whisks him away to a remote [...]

    28. Holy Smoking Kindle!!! If you are like me, you have been waiting (im)patiently for this book to come out so we can see if Simon is ok. So when I found out that I was selected to review an ARC of this book, needless to say I happy danced all over my house :) All I can say is that this book definitely exceeded my expectations! The story picks up a few hours after Simon was rushed to the hospital, and the news rocks the band to its core. Faced with an order to not speak until his follow-up, Simon ne [...]

    29. Read the full review on Bookaholics Not-So-Anonymous.Note: This ebook was provided by the authors in exchange for an honest review.I won't go into too much detail about what happens here but I will say that you'll need to read Destroyed before heading into this novella because it's a direct sequel. Heck, just go ahead and read all the books because, well, they're highly addictive. What I love about these books is that they never go exactly the way you think they will and that keeps the series fr [...]
