It's been a long time since I've "professionally" reviewed a book, but here goes:I picked this book as Ancient Egypt has always fascinated me, and that has rubbed off on my daughter, who, from the age of seven, has wanted to be an Egyptologist. This is a wonderful book for children; illustrations are excellent, writing is the reader, while educating readers about Ancient Egypt, a culture that I’ve always found fascinating, Arthur wants to be the one who finds the Book of Toth, which hasn’t been seen for thousands of years.     3. Book three in the series, however with the exception of the very first chapter, it seems very much a book that can be read on it own. I do encourage the reading of the whole series. It is very good.I love Ancient Egypt and its culture, legends, and mythology. Arthur and his friends explore the region and keep very good historical notes over the beauty and mystery of the land.
