    1. I received a copy of this book from the author in return for an honest review Hmmm, this book. I like it! And that's saying a lot considering I'm not typically a fan of contemporary romances. Now, now. I can promise you guys an honest review, the author didn't give me this book and told me i had to love it or herald beautiful things about it. She said she just wanted a review. Let's kick this review off with my rendition of the plot: Belle had her heart ripped from her chest twice.Swearing off m [...]

    2. Belle and Marian are co-founders of the Stairstepz bookstore. One day Marian's old flame Vince Anderson walks through the front door looking for a parenting book. Turns out he wants to foster a child - on his own! When Belle doesn't tell Marian about Vince's visit, you just know they're in for trouble. Belle knows she should stay away from him, but something about him draws her in. With Vince reluctant to commit to a relationship because of his past experiences, will these two ever get together? [...]

    3. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. While I am not the biggest fan of the romance genre, this book did manage to hold my attention. I appreciated that each character was mature and well established in their own right. However, they each had similar things going on in life in that each of them were trying to overcome an obstacle brought about by someone misinterpreting feelings for them. One was a professor and one was social worker. I had difficulty accepting th [...]

    4. I kind of prefer YA when it comes to romance but I really think Clark did a swell job on this one. It gets extra points with me because it was a clean romance. Not every adult who likes romance enjoys reading about a couple making their headboard shake o.O Clark pretty much demonstrates that you can fall in love without ripping each other’s clothes off. It’s fun, its family friendly, and it’s actually enjoyable. Yes, it’s possible to write an adult romance without writing erotica, don’ [...]

    5. The Relationship Riddle: A Novel is by Susan Paulson Clark. It is an unusual romance but one which is very realistic. It is told in alternating chapters by Belle and Vince. It made a welcome change to romance novels. I loved reading it. Vince Anderson is a high school teacher and coach. He once taught English in China as a way to give back to people. He volunteers for the nearby orphanage. He knows what it is like to be abandoned as he never knew his father and his mother left him with her paren [...]

    6. The Relationship Riddle is about Vince and Belle and how their tenuous and unpromising first contact leads to a relationship. Vince is a high school football coach and somewhat of a ladies’ man who’s never committed to any romantic relationship. Belle, on the other hand, is a small business owner who has had a tendency to commit far too soon with men who are toxic. She carries the baggage of an unsavory ex-husband, one of the things that gives Vince pause once he finds out. Through twists an [...]

    7. My kind of romance. What will you’ll get from the Relationship Riddle? You will find a heartwarming story of love between not only a man and woman, but also between child and parent, and even between friends. You’ll get a well-written story with a strong plot and story structure. You’ll find loveable characters you’ll want to cheer for, and maybe one or two that you might throw your book at, if they were standing in the room with you. The story is written with the strength of a woman who [...]

    8. Let me start by saying I was given this book to read for an honest review….Now that I’ve said that let’s get started.I love this story! Ms. Clark’s title is perfect! Vince and Belle are great, and watching them do what we all do or have done in our past or current relationships is priceless! Looking at this book as a “Stupidhead’s Guide” is awesome! It speaks volumes as to how we all handle things and react instead of talking it out. A must read! I laughed and cried and wanted to s [...]

    9. New relationships can be a struggle at first. Rarely does one work out exactly as you plan. In this well plotted book, Belle is falling for her best friend’s ex-boyfriend Vince. If she continues to see Vince, how will it affect her friendship with Marian? The relationship is not the only thing in this book. We also learn about Belle’s struggle with alcoholism and her worthless ex-husband. Vince has recently adopted a little boy and is learning to be a father and helping Tye learn to trust ag [...]

    10. Wonderful story of hope and encouragement!Told alternately through the eyes of Belle and Vince, this story relates the tale of how two people begin to overcome their broken pasts, find their own independent interests, and then begin a fragile relationship with one another. You can't help cheering for Vince as he learns to parent his new foster child Tye, and for Belle as she and her friend Marion run their little self-help bookstore and market Marion's new book (titled the same as this novel). I [...]

    11. The Relationship Riddle was a very enjoyable read. It was well written and left me wanting more. I thought Clark did a tremendous job with character development. I was hooked and I could identify with the main characters in the story. I appreciated very much that it was clean and appropriate for anyone. Grammatically speaking it was excellent as well.I would love to read more of this author's work. I want to know how the relationship between Belle and Vince progresses. I also really appreciated [...]

    12. *3.5 stars*Liked it and the characters. Especially when Vince took Tye under his care and the last part where he saved him. That was really nice and made me like Vince more. And when Belle and Vince where in same kind of situation and how both dealt with it in different ways and how it turned out, really this or that. But it was really cool when she finds Dee and Rains, lol I liked how she stood up to them. And the end was Ah! it wasn't cliffhanger but would have loved to see how Vince makes up t [...]

    13. There were parts of this book that I loved. You had a great story with great events and things I loved. Unfortunately some parts were very slow and I found myself skipping paragraphs just to get on with the story. The foster idea of your story was wonderful and I'll always remember that. But l probably won't read it again. I will definitely read other books of yours starting with book one in the series :-)

    14. This is an excellent book that was easy to read. I found it really easy to get into the book and follow the storyline. This is perfect for people who love a romance. This book will provide a heart-warming story and will show love between a man and a woman as well as love between a parent and child. This book is perfect for adults and young adults.

    15. Really good book and it is easy to get in and l really enjoyed reading it and l wish l could rate it more then five stars and I would highly recommend it and even if people are not it to this type of story it's a really good read and you don't have to like romance to read this book and I couldn't put it down once l picked it up

    16. This book was a love story but for me the ending fell flat. I just think I didn't like the ending but the rest of the book was not bad. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*
