    1. Peacemakers is a historical fiction thriller, similar in style/feel to something like the Da Vinci Code or The Sisterhood (by Helen Bryan) without the religious aspect. The novel follows several different characters who are all tied together. I was a little concerned on reading the description of the book that the author would be excessively wordy or that the story lines would be hard to follow but did not find that to be the case at all.     2. Well-crafted balance of a good eye for historical detail, a keen appreciation for the power of place, and the roller-coaster pacing of classic pulp. The only thing this story didn't give me was a chance to catch my breath.

    3. Loved this! Interesting and filled with tidbits of historical details. Strong, well developed women characters with wit and sass.

    4. This is such an amazing book. I couldn't put it down. I usually am not interested in historical fiction, but this story is absolutely amazing!
