    1. This is my first book by this author and the first in this series and I loved it. But I have to dock 1/2 star but I'll get to that later. So 4.5 ghostly stars.Bridget has been in an accident and has the scars to show it. She is trying to get her life together and well she isn't doing so well. She is being smothered by her mother and living with her parents not working as a nurse any more and is fed up of depening on others to help her. Brid now works at her cousins cleaning out the kennels and h [...]

    2. DNF at 50%Cringe alert! This book is the epitome of awkward.Awkward romance, awkward dialogue, awkward pacing, awkward love scenes, awkward plot, awkward characters, awkward mystery, awkward cussing, awkward writing.*shudders*

    3. This was such an entertaining story I found myself falling in love with Rob a little bit. How can you not love a man who cries because he loves his dog and screams because he's scared of snakes?? Yep the man of my dreams! Rob's sister passed away but she has "unfinished business" and now she's a ghost hanging out in the house where she died. Rob offers to allow Bridget to stay in the home as a house sitter while he makes repairs. Bridget was in a terrible accident in which she was in a coma she [...]

    4. 3.5 STARSThis was a page-turner. I love I-see-dead-people stories and I live for romance so I was sure this was going to be a winner. And, in a way, it was. I was glued to the pages and I liked that the ghost, Charlie, was a main character. But Some of the actions and reactions of the characters boggled my mind. Dude. A Ghost. A Ghost is telling you she was murdered. Murdered by a family friend and this is your reaction?:Not only that but you're falling for her brother, who obviously knows this f [...]

    5. I really enjoyed Rob and Bridget. Having Charlie the ghost added a whole other dimension to the story. I loved the way the story unfolded and the growth of the characters. Bridget struggled to come to terms with her scars as well as her ability to talk to ghosts. It was a great story.

    6. 3.5 starsA murder mystery, ghosts, romance - all called to me and said 'Read me!' So I did. :D This is the first in a series and as such the world building, specifically the ghosts, was a little weak, but it was intriguing. Bridget can see ghosts but not when other people are around, only when she and the ghost are alone. Even if someone is a distance away but looking in their, she can't see the ghost. Why do some ghosts stay and some move on? Where do they go? Why can ghosts solidify sometimes [...]

    7. Ghostly Liaison is unlike any paranormal book I've ever read. Sure, I've read a few books about ghosts but Ghostly Liaison took seeing dead people to a whole new level. After a car accident that killed her, then put her in a coma for months after she was resuscitated, Bridget is finally starting to get her life back on track. Other than the pesky hallucinations she's been having. On her first day to work in her cousin's veterinary office she runs into Rob and the sparks immediately fly.Rob instan [...]

    8. I loved Rob's mind, "lots of things were better. Such as kissing her, or loving her, or waking up beside her. Hell, anything to do with her. Right now he was thankful to have had dinner with her." I didn't really make a lot of notes or highlights in the book because I was so into it. I loved it, I had read other books by Stacy and I loved them and I knew I would love this one as well.

    9. BookBub recommended this book for me - and I get anything they give me - so I read it and couldn't stop, read it in less than 24 hours - now i have to wait HOW LONG to read the next one?! WAHHHHHHH I LOVED IT LOVED IT LOVED IT

    10. This book wasn't too bad, I liked Rob, he was a good guy, but Bridget got on my nerves from time to time. Seemingly so smart at one point, and completely clueless the next. The book was worth the read though so go for it.

    11. Sweet readI enjoyed this book. There was something so sweet about it. It made me feel that if anyone has ever lost a loved one, perhaps the loved one is nearer to them than they think.

    12. Loved itGreat story could not put it down. Loved the romance part as well as the suspense. I would definitively read more books by this author.

    13. This was a great story and I enjoyed it very much. It was the first by this author and I look forward to reading her other books.

    14. I loved the premise of this book. Ghosts, romance, a killer on the loose I was hooked and picked this up. I found the supernatural part slightly odd. Bridget can see ghosts but only when she's alone. Huh. The suspense was great and the romantic tension was well done. I just had a hard time with the whole ghost thing and was unable to suspend my belief. My Rating: 3 stars

    15. First reviewed at Keeper BookshelfBridget’s life changed completely in one moment. While driving her best friend’s car she stalled being unused to a stick. A drunk driver slammed into the stalled car sending it careening into the nearby icy water. Her friend and her unborn baby died, Bridget was badly injured, actually had been dead for a few minutes before being brought back and had remained in a coma for close to a year. Now recovering at her parent’s home, Bridget is ready to reclaim her [...]

    16. A changeWas a quick read but good . Sweet to think it could all work that way, going to give the next one a try too.

    17. For a ghost story, this was rather sweet. I enjoyed it.We begin with Bridget sneaking out of her parent’s house, afraid to wake her mother, and getting ready to ride her bike somewhere – in the rain. I wondered about this. I was expecting to read a ghost story or mystery. Why are we dealing with a delinquent sneaking out of her parent’s house? It just didn’t seem right. Then I find out this is a 30 year old woman who has been recovering from a serious auto accident. This is her first day [...]

    18. New author and her new series! Stacy McKitrick and her Ghostly Encounters!!!! And what an entertaining start it is for her series with her first book “Ghostly Liaison”. Charlie is dead and leaves her home to her brother Rob, except that Charlie suddenly realizes that she is stuck between the worlds of life and death and there’s absolutely no one to help her. Rob on the other hand is busy trying to keep his inherited construction business running and has no time to fix his sister’s house [...]

    19. A unique paranormal romance. The book starts with Rob discovering his sister Charlie, dead. He believes she has committed suicide because she emailed him a note; or did she? Charlie is there watching Rob find her body but she can’t do anything about it -- Rob can’t hear or see her.She sees dead people…Bridget was in an accident that left her in a coma for nine months. She can see and hear Charlie when no one else is around, even when she doesn’t want to. Charlie needs help catching her mu [...]

    20. "Avoiding love is hard. Catching a killer can be fatal. . . When Rob's sister passed away, she left him her dog and her house. He can handle the dog part, but he doesn't need another home. Especially a fixer-upper the neighbor swears is haunted. Then he meets Bridget, who's working on getting her life back together after a car accident left her scarred in more ways than one. She can't pass up Rob's offer of free lodging, regardless of the shape it's in. Or the roommate that's part of the package [...]

    21. Ms. McKitrick has done it again!I read my first of her books early last year and have since cruised through all of her works! There aren’t a lot, yet, but if she keeps this up it won’t be long before she has a list as long as my arm of five star review stories!Yes, I’m giving her another five stars!Ghostly Liaison is totally awesome! It’s an excellent weekend read! It may be be a Romance but it has a plot, a mystery, believable characters and I believe a tear or two dropped from my eyes. [...]

    22. Predictable in a warm your heart kind of way.Characters: 3.5/5 StarsDescriptive personalities that come alive throughout the story. Each character has their own unique take on the world adding a greater feel of cohesiveness to the story.Unfortunately, one of the main characters is rather childish and comes across as much younger than she should be.Plot: 3/5 StarsOversimplified version:Predictable. Accident happens- depression and guilt set in- finds a man but pushes him away- the man is patient [...]

    23. Loved the book can't wait for the second in series. Sometimes I do want to give a character the "snap out of it slap" but in this book Charlie gave Bridget the wake up she needed. Thank you Ms. McKitrick. This book had a bit of everything, just how I like them. Had mystery/intrigue, romance, and humor. Throw in a great pet, smart women, and a patient man and I could not put the book down. I love the bit of extended family and friend interaction. I also enjoyed the way the author made the lead ch [...]

    24. Romance and Mystery and Murder and Mayhem. This is a fascinating paranormal tale of falling in love, commuting to grips with a body that is less than perfection from scaring from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident, catching the killer who was identified early on but was very very slippery, as most con men are, and overcoming it all with love and commitment. There were plenty of gripping twists and turns to hold your attention as well as hot kisses and intimate scenes to stir your bloo [...]

    25. Personally I loved this book. So what if you don't believe in Ghosts, so what if you know who the murder was in the beginning. The way the tale is told and written so wonderfully, keeps you reading. Kate is learning as she goes. If you have never lived through a major trauma you wouldn't completely understand what she is going through. Her healing and learning to deal with a new ability, and the patience of a man who loves her, is what this story is about. Add in some ghosts and drama and I have [...]

    26. *4.5 Stars*This story has a bit of everything suspense, mystery, ghosts, romance, and even a bit of smut. What could be better, right? Wellt much. Ghostly Liaison was a fast paced addictive book that will suck you in on the first page and wont let you go until well past the last. The writing was well done, and the dialogue flowed smoothly. One of the things that I wasn't the biggest fan of, was Bridget's issues. She had been through a lot after her accident, I just wish that she had gained a lit [...]

    27. Ghostly Liaison was cute. Bridget had died and is making her life the way she wants it now that she has her second chance. A chance meeting with Rob enters her into a world where she thinks she is seeing hallucinations, has a very hot landlord, and a goofy dog you just can't help but love. Rob lost his sister six months ago and can't bear to part with the house just yet. He needs Bridget there to make sure nothing is happening while he repairs the damages done by the last tenants. What neither e [...]

    28. I really love the plot to this story. The charters are written well. You get to really know them and what went on in the story wasn't confusing at all. This is not a Murder Mystery so don't be disappointed that the murderer is revealed right away in the book. The plot is in finding a way to prove who did it and how. Because the only person that know's who did it is a ghost. This book was fun to read and keep's your attention though the whole book. You can't wait to turn the page and find out wha [...]

    29. Bridget, a former nurse, is recovering from a devastating wreck that has left her broken physically as well as emotionally. Her well-meaning and large family is there to support her, kind of. When she meets Rob, friend of her cousin's new husband, she's more than attracted, but not about to expose her scars of either variety. But he's not giving up, granting her an escape from the oppressive care she's being given. What she didn't expect was his deceased sister, Charlie to still be 'living' in t [...]
