    1. this was different and cud have been a great success! but i felt no chemistry between nicholas and madeleine. it was slighlty irritating the quick changes of povs! we had pov from madeline, nicholas, their daughters, even adrian !

    2. This was a very different book especially since it was written in 1974! Firstly the heroine Madeline is a more mature woman. She's a 33year old widow with a 16year old daughter. Madeline is quite attractive and she literally bumps into the hero Nick. Nick is the owner of the big car factory in town, he himself is a widower with a 15 year old daughter. They are instantly attracted to each other and soon after they meet again, Nick actively pursues Madeline. Most of the story involves Nick and Mad [...]

    4. So-so 2 1/2 stars, August 14, 2008MY THOUGHTS: This was another old book written in 1966. I noticed that the main characters immediately got together in the book/professed their love for each other. Of course, there were misunderstandings, but in this case, the only seeming obstacle was Madeline's daughter, Diana. I thought the story was fine, just nothing to rave about. Oh and supposedly the hero, Nicholas, has a 15 year old daughter Maria, but in the book, she almost doesn't seem like she's 15 [...]

    5. Definitely a good read, however one of the characters annoyed me to bits. Diana, if she was my daughter I would have turned her over my knee. She wasn't a prude how the book describes precisely but she was a spoiled little brat who thought only of herself. The hero and heroine were beautiful together and Adrian was just as annoying as Diana herself. Some people

    6. Although it has a good story structure, storytelling was so superficially. I'd like to learn more about the characters, also there was no character analysis. I think, I expected too much things from this story. It was a disappointment.
