    1. “…she wasn’t content with always being the under-dog just because she’d been born small.” (Kindle Locations 897-898).Arara doesn’t want to go to school where she’s bullied and belittled by the confident and large alpha pup, Kerka and his followers. Arara has a special ability to hear others’ thoughts, but that won’t help her win any fights. Until she finds out she has another special power, she does everything she can to avoid going to school, but she could use a lesson or two [...]

    2. A delightful and engaging read that I could not put down. Enjoyed it from start to finish and ended up wanting to immediately pick up Flower's Fang. Only a few fiddly edity bits kept this from a 5 for me, and I rarely 5. Can't wait to read more in this world.

    3. While Snow Flower was far from perfect, it was a surprisingly enjoyable read.It takes place on a fantasy world? alien planet? Somewhere where dogs(?) are the dominant species. There's some other race of things as well (something that's "cold to the touch"), but I have no idea what they're supposed to be.One of the big downsides of this book was that we were missing all backstory and description -- it's a prequel set in the world of the first book, so I suppose all the information is in that. The [...]

    4. Snow Flower was a giveaway which is a lot of fun. Snow Flower is a young pup going to school. She is the runt of the class and as the runt she is picked on by the class bully. The teacher and her parents keep reminding her that she needs realize that they are the alphas and if she will learn to except this that her life would be easier but Snow Flower has a hard time accepting this and plans to get even.

    5. What a great book for kids to read about bullyingose who have been bullied and those who have bullied, or are bullying. I enjoyed the characters and couldn't stop reading once I began. Thanks to First Reads for a copy of Snow Flower: Arara's Tale. I will read other books by Madison Keller.

    6. This story was good and engaging. Some minor editing things that could have been avoided (word choices and the like) but nothing that could have taken you out of the story. The characters were real, the story engaging and it's part of a longer story that the author wrote. This story is good enough for both young adults and older adults to enjoy.
