    1. Horror is a hard genre to nail down. Either it's cliché, predictable or just plain not scary. Deep Dark Woods takes an overused topic in bigfoot and turns it into a fresh and disturbing look at this furry nightmare. Many of the approaches he took caught me off guard and kept me guessing till the very end of the book. Ty Schwamberger sets new horror standards with every book he writes and this one is no different. If this is not on your to get list, you are in need of therapy.
