    1. Well, I see why I was so fascinated with Caroline & John during the Kennedy presidency; they’re adorable. I was ten when President Kennedy was assassinated and clearly remember the scene where Caroline and Jackie kneeling at JFK’s coffin; it was repeated on tv a multitude of times; the photo is one of many in this book.     2. I found this book in a discount book store. It grabbed my attention immediately because Caroline was my age (and still is) when she lived in the white house. As I enjoyed this book I remembered seeing Caroline on the news when she was living in the white house.     3. With the 'New Camelot' approaching, I am pulling out all my historical books about the Kennedy years and perusing them once again. This fairly recent book looks back at the 1000 days through and via the children's point of view.
