    1. I won this book in a giveaway. This is a paranormal romance, which is a romance story I'm not accustomed to. I don't believe in ghosts, so I have a hard time digesting a literary romance with a paranormal aspect to it. The story was interesting. I liked the main character, Alex, though his referring to Leila as 'dude' really got under my skin. He also referred to his sister as 'loser', though he dearly loved her. I suppose these were his terms of endearment, but they were a bit off-putting. It d [...]

    2. **Note: This book is recommended for 18+ as it contains very mature language and sexual content. After my first reading session with this book I said I had mixed feelings about the book, and would be hesitant to pick up another Haley title. But I was still on my finished-the-book high, and a little emotional about the book for a few reasons. Having had more time to think about the book, I would probably still say I’m hesitant to pick up another of his books, but not because of his writing. Actua [...]

    3. I would like to thank Curiosity Quills Press for giving me a copy of this e-ARC to read in exchange for an honest review. Though I received this e-book for free that in no way impacts my review.Leila Sepehri, an ambitious and brilliant student determined to cure cancer, is murdered during her final semester at college, yet discovers she’s been reborn as a spirit, resigned to haunt a school that can no longer see or hear her. The following semester, incoming freshman Alejandro Velásquez arrive [...]

    4. Ok, this has a bit of YES! and then a bit of NO! to it. The first chapter had my mouth agape and my mind although still reeling, wanting more. It was a horrific start but with that kind of writing and that type of intensity I knew I was in for a great read. And then we meet some of the characters. Sadly I did not fall in love with them. Blake is THE worst. I mean every other word out of this guy's mouth is a curse word. I'm not Mary Poppins or anything, hell I was even in the military and I think [...]

    5. This was a really interesting and different kind of ghost story! I admired the depth and exploration of testing faith , which I have personally experienced in my own life. The book really kept me on the edge of my seat and I looked forward to reading it every chance I got. The characters were well developed and I felt like I knew them by the end of the book. I would highly recommend this book to anyone interested in paranormal fiction!

    6. BLOG TOURING TODAY! Home Is Where the Wine Is Book Blog 4.5 amazing, fantastic, OMG stars!!!!! Whoa Michael where have you been???? THAT WAS GOOOOOODDDDDD.I was glued to these pages.    I wanted so badly to give it that extra star but the ending was a little quirky for me. Lelia is a senior in college.  Life is good until one fateful day everything changes.  After the shooting that took her life she is left wandering the campus as a spirit.  She can touch things but no one  can see or he [...]

    7. * I received a free copy of the ebook in exchange for an honest review.* Thank you!I enjoyed the story and read it pretty much straight through. The setting is good, realistic. The murder in the prologue brought home memories of the VA Tech shooting, and created interest for me in the possibility that murdered, promising student Leila has another chance to live on. The writing is great, the level of detail perfect and interesting, which keeps the pacing well done. As for the characters, I though [...]

    8. I didn't read anything about this book before I read it, not even the synopsis (oh that's bad but sometimes that's better at least for me), and god I'm terrible I didn't even notice the writer was a dude! Hahaha okay, so here is my honest opinion. When I realized it was a ghost romance book, I seriously wanted to put it down, ghost romance books don't do it for me I really don't like them. But curiosity won me over and I was really glad and a little surprised by the ending. This book felt more l [...]

    9. *Received copy in exchange for honest review* I was impressed with the authors writing, the depth, emotion, the objectivity and openness with religion and the flow of the story was all very well done. This is an extremely unique story line and new kind of read for me. I haven't really been one to read much about religion or ghosts. I personally felt it was too much on the religion side, which was slightly strange with the sexual content, it made for an interesting read. The characters were the t [...]

    10. Today to Review Lost on the Edge of Forever by Michael Haley, is a book with a touch of paranormal and essence of romance. Your synopsis caught my attention and I decided to take it and give it a try. What if you fall in love with a ghost? Leila is a pretty normal girl, ready, and about to graduate when in a your school shooting that goes, she dies but oddly sounds his spirit is trapped between two worlds in this no one can see or hear until comes an exception to the school.Alex, just graduated f [...]

    11. "Lost on the edge of forever" is a very well-written novel. Mr. Haley did a great job in engaging the reader and the connection between the main characters was definitely there. I think that after reading some of the other reviews I can understand why a lot of them mentioned that this novel was not for them because I kind of feel the same way; First, we have the paranormal factor which was great but sex with a ghost? it's just unconceivable this made things awkward for me and I couldn't really f [...]

    12. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to read this book! I found this story to be unique and interesting. It's a story about two people who are broken and are able to find friendship and love in each other. I was completely captivated by the first chapter of this book. The author wrote about the school shooting in such a way that my heart pounded with each word I read. I was excited to read more and the book did not disappoint. I felt tha [...]

    13. I received this book for an honest review: The book was an okay read 2.5 stars. It wasn't really my cup of tea but it was written well if you can get past the annoying "dude" personality of Alex. I guess I just couldn't grasp a liking for him. His sister, Dani - yes, Leila, yes, even Kiko's short lived intro - yes and Blake - on some strange level - yes I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest when I didn't care for the main character and maybe that's where this went wrong for me. I love books that m [...]

    14. *I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review*Alex and Leila have both been through things that have broken them. They are sad, lonely and feel completely lost. Then they find each other. They become friends first, then fall in love. They work through thei problems together. This sounds like most romances today but I need to mentionLeila was murdered months ago. She is now a ghost or spirit. Only Alex is able to communicate with her. This story was extremely original. I fe [...]

    15. More reviews at melenasreviewsPast reviews at melenasreviews.wordpress/This is a first I have read from Michael Haley and have to say it was quite unique. Leila seems like any other college girl except her problem of well being dead. Now Alejandro was a tough nut to figure but once you do it all makes sense. These two were like Romeo and Juliet. Star crossed lovers yet somehow forge a romance to one another that seems unreal. I felt for Leila and all her dreams just ending because of one man. Th [...]

    16. Hey! You've heard of "reader's hook?" Of blockbuster beginnings? Well, forget those car-explosion action films and put your attention over here. Yes, right here--come here and look over my shoulder. Check out this book: the beginning totally blew me senseless, and I read the entire book from a virtual cliff's edge. This book hurts, man--it rolls down in the gritty, where real people live--and die. Get your box of tissues, get on your body armor, turn off the phone---and get yourself into this bo [...]

    17. I rate this book as 2.5It was different than most books I read. There were some parts I did enjoy, and others I didn't care for. Alex's "Dude" expressions got annoying after a while. The ending was a little confusing, and I feel that there should of been a better explanation as to why Leila saw her father and Alex saw Dr. Rhoades in the end. Did that mean they were also dead? I normally read a book a day, but it took me about a week to finish this book. Just couldn't get into
