    1. The format of the novel did not appeal to me. I had had such high hopes for it, so i was so disappointed that I didn't enjoy it. It reads like a collection of short stories. these stories have characters that intertwine and skip back and forth though time. Sadly, the transitions weren’t smooth. It is an interesting format, but not one I could get into.I just couldn't get into the story, and didn't connect with any of the characters. I think I just expected something altogether different.
